For PVP, which Time Slice is the easiest to get top 100 in?

Suppose I don't care about progression rewards and just want to be in the lowest scoring Time Slice to have the easiest shot at getting Top 100. Which slice is that?

It kind of changes, depending on where those big mega-alliances go. but generally, 3 is pretty low traffic
  • The lower scoring top 10 slices often are more tightly packed. Speaking as someone who usually goes for top 5-10, in my experience, slice one is decent scores, and decent placement. 2&3 are lower scores required, but much more clumpy in terms of scores. 4&5 have usually the highest scores to win the bracket, but that can often mean an easier ride to progressions. A score in slice 2 or 3 that may win the bracket, might not even take top 10 in the higher scoring ones, but in the higher scoring bracket, that player likely had a much easier climb to that height.

If you're just looking for top 100, you may be better off in a lower scoring one, as it seems sometimes the scores are lower there just because no one really wants to push.

Slice 3 for Doom seems to have the Crewsaders, so not low scoring this time.

There is a give and take to having the higher scorers. Definitely harder to hit top25, but not sure that it is harder to hit top100. Any difference in average top100 score may be balanced by the extra points that you can pick up each match. I just pick the time that is most convenient for me to push and shield for the last 3 hours and let my score and ranking fall where it may.

Slice 1 is the slice that ends first, so on and so forth.

Cool so brackets are still just what hour you decide start the event and if your lucky enough to get into a good bracket

Each time slice has several brackets. The time slice is the ending time you select before you enter the event. Brackets are based on that, but is the leaderboard you're placed into, essentially.

Also, when you commit to a particular time slice, you automatically get put into a bracket. I therefore don't commit to a time slice until I'm ready to start my climb.

At what point are you designated a bracket now? Is it how it used to be - as soon as you finish your first fight? Or is it as soon as you choose a time slice?

Ah, so best not to choose a slice until you're ready to go, I guess.
