Very hard to figure how rubber banding works this time. :(

From what I know, previously, your scores in a sub mission is rubber banded towards towards the #1 player in the MAIN mission.

This time, the Main mission is in a bracket of its own, not just the sub missions.

I've also had a situation where the top score in main was like 25000 pts, I was at 8k points, but the multiplier kept decreasing even though I never even exceeded half his score.

This time round, the rubber banding seems to be local, meaning that it is pit against the top score in your sub mission bracket.

I'm certain that rubber banding is still in effect. The higher my score goes, the lower the multipler becomes. (For both repeatables and non.)

Also, after certain intervals, the score reward per mission suddenly jumps up.

I'm really confused to how this works. icon_e_sad.gif

  • If it is based on the highest in your sub bracket, and not your main, I can see this being a problem. At that point all that you would need to do is wait as long as possible before doing missions, giving you the best chance possible at subs rewards, and in turn giving you a rather large boost to the main score for very minimal effort.
  • Based on my observation so far, this tournament is literally just won by whoever can grind the best. Remember quality of the grind counts too. Two of the level 240X3 mission is probably worth 10 of the easiest repeatable one. If you're only doing Jump Jets like me, you'll just see someone do the hard mission twice and easily pass you up.
