Hey team!

So I played through all the nodes on the main page of The Hulk, where the Punisher turns the tables on his assailants, when I noticed something. After the dialogue after 'The Final Showdown' (which ends with Osborn ordering Daken to bring him Castle's head), a banner came up that said "See what happens next in 'Dark Reign: The List - Punisher'"

Are we looking at a new story coming soon (so within the next eight months)? I've played through the Hulk event like seven times and that's never come up that I've noticed.

Thoughts?

    It was always there.

    It's actually pointing players towards one of the Dark Reign comics... so essentially it's "want to know how this ends? well, we're not going to tell you. if you really want to know, read the comic!"

    Yeah, I was excited about it the first time I saw it a year ago, thinking it was an indication about the next story chapter. Turned out it wasn't.

    That's such a cop-out.

    I noticed that little epilogue and, as this is my first time playing through, I thought that a Punisher PvE was on the way. icon_eek.gif
    Glad I didn't scuttle off and put ISO into Frankie.

    It is really bizarre because I'm fairly certain that it's the only time they have ever specifically pointed players towards the comics.

    Doubly bizarre because MPQ (and several other Marvel games currently available) don't technically take place in the 616 universe that the mainstream Marvel comics do - the games are only loose adaptations of comic storylines, with the ISO-8 concept linking them together.
