MMR Change?

With the end of season 9; did anyone notice the change in MMR? it seems to be a bit different, like the way they tried to tweek it before during "the test". before end of season 9; after seed teams i used to get mid 140 to max 3*'s till about 600 points in pvp, i have like 6 max 3*'s. now i'm getting stacked 4* teams right after initial seeds. this happened right after season 9 and the start of shield cooldowns. i wonder if they stealth patched in a new MMR with shield cooldowns.

I didn't notice anything different personally MMR wise for the two events this week Combined Arms and Earths Mightiest. I tanked at the beginning as I normally do and had the usual gradual ramping up of team levels as I climbed.0 -

I am seeing the opposite - fairly easy teams (2* and transitioning) all the way into the 600s, and then switching to the 4* teams there. I was seeing maxed 3*s from under 400 last season. Best guess is that it's an artifact of the two off season tournaments - buffs across multiple characters give the mmr pool a chance to get out of its normal bounds.0 -
I saw about the same, 166 wall around 550 (wish it was around 700 like season 7).
However, I wonder if tanking is the answer. I didn't look for it in off-season events, but on my climb to 300 I saw a boat-load of teams tanking in sticks and stones.0 -
This always happens bc of bop and ca pvps. It takes a couple of pvps to return to normal.0
