Negative experience glitch and assistance

So I used to play this game about a year ago then put it down for a while. Eventually, I picked it back up on my android. Playing on a new account made me want to go back to my steam account so that's just what I did. What I noticed though was that I had characters with negative experience bars. I didn't think anything of it, I just assumed it was a graphical glitch and I would still be paying the same amount of iso to level my character as it would with an unglitched character's experience bar. That wasn't true. Leveling up my glitched characters took far more iso even at lower levels, and when I realized it (and manned up a bit) I emailed support about the problem.
I sent my first email on December 9th. After a few passes back and forth, it was decided that for D3 to fix my characters, I needed to delete the ones that were glitched. I was a little sad at that news, I didn't know when I was going to get my characters back, and considering they were my two strongest 3* characters and a 2* Ares I was intending to level to 94 from 40 I was a bit sad. I was especially reluctant because I didn't want to cause my alliance to drop in rankings because I couldn't meet my quota with my weakened roster. Eventually, I went through with the deletion and I was told by support that "We are still addressing your issue and will contact you as soon as we can with the appropriate resolution for your issue." I received this email on December 22 and December 24 from two different people judging by initials at the end of the email. I waited until after the holiday season and emailed them on January 3rd asking them if they were close to a final resolution with my problem. 6 days to 1 week later, I haven't heard back from them. It's been a month-long problem that I was hoping would be resolved in a matter of days. For those of you with this problem I would advise sucking it up and dealing with the negative experience bars, because it's not worth it to delete them. Thanks for listening to my warning and my cry for help.

I think that issue stems from the leveling adjustment they did a while back. I thought there was an easy fix but don't recall what it was. I'm surprised you had to delete your characters.0

There was an issue with that for awhile, yeah, and all you had to do is play a Prologue match with each character for them to be fixed. I have a gut feeling this is still stemmed from that, but there's been a few complaints in the last two months or so that that didn't help them, so I'll assume something in the last few updates is preventing that kind of clear-cut updating (if I had to guess, some sort of anti-cheat, but your guess is as good as mine).0 -
Yeah, I had heard that playing a prologue match would help, but after trying it none of my characters were fixed. And yeah, deleting my characters was harsh. I I guess I can understand why, otherwise the best solution would be to give me covers to replace the covers for the character I have...but what's to stop my from applying those to my glitched character and sticking with the negative experience bar? So I understand why, still isn't the best situation to be in.0
