    - as for the hard nodes, I clear them once per 12h now. They use too much health packs now. Not worth it.

Overall, I could stay in the Top 25 playing this way, which means people are not playing much, but I don't myself.

I used to enjoy grinding the node rewards, but I'm sick of grinding 20 Iso when sometimes I need to full boost, including HP for the rainbow.

Instead of spending so much time creating tons of new characters, they should fix PvE so it becomes fun and rewarding.

D3 : will you wait till people definitely stop playing PvE to realize it's hard time you listened to us ?

all about you quitting? On Dec 1
How can you be playing for the top 25 when you quit? On Dec 1
Maybe the word quit means something different in Arktos World.

Instead of spending so much time complaining, you should at least quit the forums so it becomes fun and rewarding.

Arktos : when will you learn that quit means go away? It's high time you listened to yourself and actually quit.

Not gonna get into forum feuds, but here's a little fun fact that pertains to the thread.

My subs just ended, and I played a grand total of the 2 essentials in hard sub. That was good enough for top 200. My no-show in the normal sub was good enough for 450th place, although you do in fact need to complete a node or you won't get any rewards (so sadly I didn't get anything for that sub). So - just goes to show how many people are even bothering to play this at all. I'm 5-6k from the Cage progression and could probably do nothing and stay in the top 150 so I'm happy to just coast til the end.
  • Actually, I think scaling is going pretty well in this one. The normal sub has been continually beatable and I can use more team comps for fun in it. The hard sub is scaling to a point where players can't grind, and some that have will be limited in which nodes they can beat. This is how scaling should be. Players should not be able to infinitely grind subs, otherwise why have scaling at all.

They only issue they may still need to address is starting scaling level that start out with levels too high.

Normal is fine aside from the essential starting at 150 (at least for me) for some reason, which isn't hard but certainly doesn't match rest of the bracket.

Hard is probably at the limit of what you can do comfortably without boosts. Although the enemy have some pretty cheap combos they still can't compare to Simulator Hard but there's no particular reason to incur a 10K iso loss per day for this event so people might as well take it easy. Had the reward been something good people would've grinded the maximum just fine within available time though the scaling probably will reach the 300s from all the extra clears enabled by boosts.

Putting a bit into it on this non-PVP day, once again one essential done once put me top 200, done twice put me top 150 on a weekend. Nope, why bother play with crazy scaled nodes that will ensure plenty of damage to folks.

Thanks to my presence on the forum you could build a reputation. Either good or bad.

You know, Arktos bashing is quite old-fashioned, you should move on something more interesting. You meant to be smart. Not everyone can be Hail Mary or TheUnwiseOne... Sorry.

You buy my account for what I paid for it, and I promise, I'll quit. That's what was written on the post you quoted, but you chose not to read or understand it.

One last thing, please be accurate, I'm playing for Top 10 Alliance and Top 5 personal.

I was going to post yesterday that I could clear all of them, no sweat... until today. I could clear all but one of the hard ones and now I'm struggling to gain top 50. That's my tactic: place first in the normal sub and anywhere top 50 in the hard one.
  • RNG has been fairly kind to OBW and myself all evening (shh, don't tell it I said that), and managed to clear everything in one try. Punisher (142 unbuffed) patch and obw make a nice trio for these, as patch tanks 2 colors for punpun, and obw tries to only come out when there is low risk of her pretty face being smashed in by a headbutt. Something patch shrugs off pretty well tbh. The only real dicey part is getting the goons down asap, cause getting only half-heals, even though countdowns are increasing, doesn't cut muster for long.

I didn't think I had a shot at T2, but considering I'm hovering right at that point, I might as well try to push through and add my first fury yellow. Very rare that I have enough time to do this well in a pve.

I've been kinda doing that. Getting as high up as possible in normal and then beating what I can once I've ground them down enough in hard mode.
Gotta say, the 12 hour events are kinda harsh. I don't think such a short amount of time works. I think an event with this much story going on in it doesn't work as a 4-5 day event. The opposite would be making the Deadpool event last a week.
For a sub event, I could be at work and miss out pretty much on all of the run time. Or I'm asleep and the same thing happens. I usually get about 8 hours sleep, so when an event begins at 5am, I'm asleep. I miss most of it and wake up around 12pm to 2pm (I tend to work late and stay up late as a result) so I need to leap on and frantically grind them down in the last 3 hours they run...then my guys are dead when the new event starts and I need to wait a few hours to heal them.

Yeesh. This event's a lot of hard work. It's like D3 heard people say "These 7 day events are too much!" and they replied "Okay, here's a 4 day event that normally lasted a week. Have fun with that!"

Got all the progression rewards though, at least. I just hope to finish top 50 at worst, I would really like a blue cover for Doom. I've got about 370 days of play time invested and I've only managed to find 4 blacks and 1 blue for him in all that time. I've had more luck finding X-Force covers (8 yellows. Yay me).

They need to work out the kinks in personal scaling, I think. I capped all my A-team at 150 and have been making casual full clears with no boosts and only the occasional health packs through most of the event (not grinding refreshes), and watching my score relative to others.

Looks like a few in my sub brackets are not making full clears of the subs and just clearing some nodes multiple times to try to keep up. But I bet I would have had to do the same if I were getting enemies of the levels my alliance mates report with their high level xforces.
  • Can someone explain to me how scaling actually works in this game?

Does the game scale up to your highest character level, or the total cumulative level of all your characters.

I've been playing the game for almost 2 years, and have basically collected at least one all the characters, and have been wondering if its been hampering me from progressing in certain events. I know with the gauntlet it scales as you progress down the line, but in what way exactly?

    Thanks for the help.

I dunno, in events like this, where I can use Xforce and Thor on every node, I'm kinda OK with the scaling - that team destroys _everything_ with ISO-boosts.
Of course, without boosts every node in Hard is impossible, but it has been like that in a few months now.
  • Personally, I only got as far as it's worth the effort. No point doing them if I then need to revive 2 or all 3 of them afterwards, unless the points reward were high enough to consider the risk. But I'm also a 2* transition player, so hard tends to scale past my characters really quickly.

However, I do know of at least one member of my alliance that will fight to try and finish in first place if he/she can.
