FRQ: Level damping
A feature request for the forseeable future: enable setting my heroes to play as lower level than they have.
I guess the UI would be trivial, just a slider or spin to set the desired number between 1 (6/15/30) and the max. On the trainig info that can be accessed from roster or the fight preamble.
In play such character appears exactly as if I never used more ISO beyond the set effective level. For tile damage, ability numbers and everything.
Why would I need such a thing? Well, certainly to tune and form a proper synergic team. For the event I play, considering the limits on team members, effective buffs and everything else. Many abilities depend on who is handling a certain tile. Adding a teammate could run that if he's grown too big. But in this game I can't have multiple builds, levels of characters. And growth can not be undone.
The current metagame is pretty dull, and most people play with the same very few characters at their max levels. Or wish to do so. But I hope devs work on making it way more versatile by tweaking/balancing abilities so quite all characters become viable to play in general -- and/or keep adding events where special rules change up the powers significantly.
in that -- for me -- shiny future this ability to use my evolved heroes as either max or lower level. Please put it in the pipeline so it can roll out somewhat before it becomes so much needed.

+1, would love to have this in addition to the ability to set power levels lower (Model 40's yellow, Black Widow's purple, Hawkeye's purple, etc.).0

+1. I'd also like to be able to add all 15 covers to my heroes, picking which 13 covers to use for a fight. Would make those arbitrary skill changes less brutal on existing builds.0

I had this same idea and was going to post it.
Damping Level and Skill. The greatest idea!
So, a character that have 3 skills can receive 5 covers of each power, but can only use 13 (the cap). This literally solves the problem with nerfs/buffs. And also, if the devs want to add new power for those that only have 2, it wouldn't be a problem for the people that already have them 5/5. It would be so much win!
I would even suggest that, thinking on the money side, that after you have added 13 covers, for those 2 extra cover to be added, some HP would have to be spent.
This gives a lot of possibilities for playing. A huge lot.
