This is a good jump off point for me (not due to BagMan)
tldr version: I hate fast games. I hate balance to the point of fairness. I hate games not made in my best interest. I like progression (games with an easy button). I'm a winner (my mom tells me that all the time).
Long version:
Obviously the devs have a vendetta against me (see: BagMan sucks). Their wanting to balance everything to make the game fair for everyone means I have to actually try to win. I want to play a superhero-themed puzzle quest, this is obviously not a superhero-themed game because BagMan sucks. I want every hero as strong as BagMan, not every hero stronger than him (which I feel like is what the devs are aiming for, not about BagMan again).
The past 3 months I've paid lots of money to build up Bagman. You know that thing called progression? It's what drives me. But now, I feel like that sense of progression is lost. What's the point now? I can pay $100 more and BagMan will still suck. That RPGish quality of progression is what differentiated this from Bejeweled (it takes like 10 moves to win in Bejewled).
It wasn't just that BagMan sucks (not about BagMan again). It was the severity of how much he sucks. When the dev said he thought BagMan's Switcheroo should cost 13AP, that **** sucks because I can only switch like 2 tiles while Loki switches everything?
Some people would say, "forget whos top tier, play how you want to play." And to them I say, I like min/maxing. It's in my blood. Always has been. If the devs are taking that away (which it seems like they are), it's taking away my interest in this game. The devs are probably reading this sentence twice and saying, **** is this idiot talking about?
Most people say Pokemon Black/White is the worst version of Pokemon, whereas X/Y are all held in high regard. Not coincidentally, Black/White plays the slowest and is the most balanced of all the street fighters. It seems like this is what the devs want from MPQ.
So, it's been fun. Lots of great people in this forum. But I tried playing the Ares levels and the fire is gone. I had to take at LEAST 7+ turns to win. I really don't see how they could pull me back, because the direction the game is going isn't the kind of game I want to play anymore. Perhaps buff BagMan?
Shoutouts to DumDumDugn. I hope this game is still fun for you. You'll still be there next week.

yea this was just lazy =/
B/W is one of the better pokemon. Should've used D/P as the worst. And G/S is the best, hands down.0 -

i was confused about the "all the street fighters"0 -
Where are all the BagMan haters? Shouldn't you be celebrating in full force
It was a rhetorical question. BagMan haters should feel disgusted with themselves right now.0 -
What if instead of collecting covers we had to catch our covers using marvelballs? and they can only be found in tall grass or fishing....
A wild miss marvel appears!0 -
I lol'd on this one. Very well played.0

Laughed so hard.0

I will admit it, this made me giggle.0

I just pulled a bagman from a standard token. Might be a good jump off point DUE TO BAGMAN0
-
I pulled one today from my heroic token daily.0

Bag-Man doesn't bother me that much. It's the fact that they have the nerve to buff Bag-Lady before Bag-Man. That's clearly sexism. I don't want to play a game where 4-stars are better than 2-stars or a game where more than half the 3-stars are better than 2-star Thor. I don't care that he's 2-star, he's still the god of thunder damnit. He should be better than everyone else even if they're 3-stars. Except for his robot clone of course. Rags something or other, I forget his name. Not because he's unpopular, he's clearly a top rate character in the Marvel universe, I'm just forgetful. That's what happens when you spend 2 months spamming Thunderclap non-stop.0
-
A good jump off point for me due to the increasing amount of pointless trolling in the forums.0
-
This makes sense since he pretty much just summarized all of the players reactions who were mad by the rag nerf. I laughed a little.0

Great post, big LOL. Keep it up.0
