Fastball Special cannot throw Captain America

I know it still worked yesterday, but since the new update, I can't seem to use colossus to throw Captain America 3* anymore. He Hits icon appears as locked, and when only Colossus and the Cap is left, it doesn't register the Cap and won't let me activate the Fastball at all.

Is there an update to Colossus or is this a bug?

    People were reporting game crashes when they threw Captain America... they might have put in a temporary update to prevent you from throwing him for now. An official announcement would help.

    I'm having a similar issue, but with GSBW. I pulled up Fastball Special, but her icon shows as locked. I can still throw She-Hulk though.

    Do other abilities that place tile(s) work with Fastball Special? I don't have a Colossus.

    Seems like characters with multiple tile placing skills are locked ~ GSBW chooses tile placement for all her active skills, same goes for both versions of Captain America as well as Modern Hawkeye who were also locked. Other tile placers like Rocket & Groot, MNMagneto & Invisible Woman didn't have a locked icon but of the 5 times I fired Fastball tosses, Polarity Shift, I Got A Plan and Force Bubbles did not trigger. I couldn't test Moonstone or 2Star Captain America since I recently sold them.

    never had it crash while chucking Cap, and i did it allot there for a while before it got locked down. it always worked fine, with all of his powers.

    I do question the (in-universe) logic of throwing people who then proceed to use projectile weapons, but haven't encountered any game crashes when throwing Cap.

    Good catch - the following abilities were made un-Fastball-Special-eligible for a few versions until we can fix a crash relating to throwing characters with abilities that make you choose tiles:

    All Captain America 2* abilities
    All Captain America 3* abilities
    All Black Widow (Grey Suit) abilities
    All Spider-Man (Bag-Man) abilities
    Bullseye Murderous Aim
    Colossus Immovable Object
    Hawkeye Clean Shot
    Hawkeye Take Aim
    Hawkeye (Modern) Blast Arrow
    Hawkeye (Modern) Electric Arrow
    Hood Twin Pistols
    Invisible Woman Force Bubbles
    Magneto Marvel Now Polarity Shift
    Moonstone Gravity Warp
    Rocket and Groot I Got A Plan

    lets face it, the only place anyone is throwing invisible woman, is in the bin
  • Glad to finally know what's up with Colossus.

    Is there a timetable on when this might get fixed? Is it any sort of priority?

    This pretty much put a huge damper on this game for me. My four best characters are as follows: Colossus, Hood, 3*Cap and GSBW.

    I'm just a 2* to 3* player and the dropoff from there is significant and I only ever seem to get 2*s from tokens anymore.

    With everything else that needs fixing, I sure hope this isn't a priority...
  • Glad to knows the devs are aware of this, but it's been a few updates already. Any idea if there's any progress on this?
