Happy New Year, MPQers - Why do these characters still suck?
Hello, MPQers, happy new year. Let's have a serious discussion:
Once upon a time, there was only healing and not True Healing. D3 didn't like that, and so now there is True Healing and Sucky-Healing. Characters that have True Healing are more or less fine. Characters that retained Sucky-Healing haven't fared so well:
Spider-Man
She-Hulk
Beast
2*Black Widow(she's doing okay, actually, but that's a different discussion.)
What's the common thread here? These characters have Sucky-Healing, and suck for it(except OBW). Spider-Man's fall is particularly tragic.
Sucky-Healing has failed us. Please replace it. We understand that we're never gonna get True Healing back on these characters.
Lazy suggestion: Change healing into enemy stun. 2*Black Widow get's Widow's Sting, Spider-Man doesn't have his yellow anymore(which would improve him greatly), etc.
Actual Fix:
Spider-Man: Replace his Yellow with Web-Swing(might necessitate changing his to ). Web-Swing: Spider-Man zips across the battlefield, ruining the enemy's plans. Spider-Man neutralizes ( ) and creates/consumes a . If he creates a web tile, it ends there. If he consumes web tiles, he'd "continue" zipping around the battlefield. Spidey's web-slinging destroys tiles FROM ( or special tile) to dealing dmg for each. Player can choose it or it can just be random. If necessary, this can consume web tiles as a "cost". Giving Spidey lots of damage here would make him much like revamped Hood, or if you wanted to keep him as a "support", tone the damage down and make it low cost/purely utility.
She-Hulk: She-Hulk needs a complete rework, but let's do this anyway: Reprieve changed to War-Cry: She-Hulk charges into battle with an unnerving scream, stunning her enem(ies) and disrupting their movements. To keep with the spirit of the move, she could either PREVENT enemies from generating AP/setting off countdown tiles/using abilities/attack tiles going off or cause the enemy to "waste/overuse" AP(takes double AP if they use the move? They can't use the move for a couple turns?)
Beast: Needs a complete rework.
OBW: Her heal isn't actually that bad, but if they change it, I'd combine Widow's Sting with her .
In short: if you're going to nerf characters, D3, please be prepared to FIX them.

2 out of the 4 characters you mentioned are being rotated out next season. Hopefully a fix is on the way . Obw already the best 2star, she doesn't need a rework and spidey's yellow NEEDS to be better0

@OBW - It was really just something to consider, since we're talking about Suck-Healing. Also, she's not best 2*. That goes to Ares.
And Spidey's Yellow ISN'T going to be better. We've seen how the devs feel about anything that's not true-healing. Which is why I proposed it just change, period. It's obvious they don't want us 'exploiting heals'(take that as you will) It's not that far-fetched, it happened to Hood.0 -
Spider-Man needs something with some real offense to it. I think something that merges CMag's Magnetized Projectiles and Daredevil's Radar Sense.. Where he webs up and throws enemy special tiles at them.
If we can't use enemy special tiles, then use existing web tiles. Yellow consumes Web tiles to perform 'boost of health' healing anyway, so why not trade them for damage instead.
(Spidey still needs some type of 'spider sense' that allows him to see enemy trap tiles, by the way.)0 -

or make 2* and lower fake healing. And 3* plus true healing0
