Seems like you have a good grip on the situation. Captain America and Thor should be your next projects, Mohawk and Sentry aren't that impressive.

    Oodles,

I hate to break it to you, but you are not early in your 3* transition. You are not even later in your 3* transitions. You have 4 cover-maxed and leveled 3* character: you are transitioned! Congratulations. You have basically everything but a strong 3* active blue power already at your disposal (lazy cap will solve that problem), and some useful PvP defensive players with hulk and patch.

As for what to do moving forward:

Lazy Cap is definitely worth leveling given his all-around usefullness at everything but pvp defense. But since much of pve value doesn't arrive until blue and red get 5 covers, I would hold off on leveling him much higher until you get that idea 3/5/5 build.

Lazy Thor is a beast and should be leveled as soon as possible (and the good news is that you have 4 covers already for his best power). Same goes for Lazy Daken, and probably black panther and cMags.

Other than than those essential 3* characters, level whoever you have fun using (I would very much like to max blade and rocket/groot myself as they seem fairly well designed and fun). And be sure to save some iso for the torrent of 4*s that is likely to be coming this spring.
  • Thanks for the help!!

I'm thinking I'm just gonna wallet warrior my Cap and hold out for a Thor event but the elusive one for me has been Daken .... I have never once had a drop or even gotten him in an event. Would love to see him drop, I feel like a Daken Cap Falcon combo would be a nice team along with my Patch Grey Suit Hulk team.

I also hear good things about a Thor Patch combo.

Question though. What's one of the better ways for getting 4 stars. I joined a higher end PVP squad that has helped immensely but still no 4's. Any help us truly appreciated.

Thor and Daken are both vaulted at the moment, so it's going to be tricky to get hold of them.
Thor and Patch are good on their own, but together not so much since they have identical colors and both want Green for their big moves.
You get 4* through placement and progression rewards. They aren't easy to get, but that's the whole point...

Quebbster's advice is right on target.

Thor and Daken won't be available until february at the earliest. (and expect thor to come back before daken).

I am not sure that thor and patch are great synergy, they do sort of overlap on green. that being said, a 3/5/5 patch and 3/5/5 thor would be ok. use all red for patch, and all yellow and green for thor. the biggest problem with this setup is that thor will tank both red and yellow, mitigating the value of patch's healing.

As for getting 4*s, they are kinda hard to find. it's top placement in pvp/pve, 1300 points in pvp, or token luck. And the 1300 thing just got much, much harder with the new shield cooldowns. But with more and more 4*s on the way, I would expect that d3p will eventually make them easier to get, probably around the time 5* are introduced.
