Play in the shard that benefits your life outside the game. That's the whole point of the shards. The advantage to playing during your true free time far outweighs forcing yourself into a certain shard and being on Marvel's schedule again. I can tell you from personal experience I've played every shard several times this season and the advantage of certain shards is negligible.
