Please do poll about being able to see opponents points.

Apparently, with out any feedback from us or an announcement, MPQ did a stealth change in R67 that does not allow us to see our opponents points.
We were supposed to be able to see our starting opponent's real time value for hitting them in that update, but that clearly still doesn't work either.

I honestly find this annoying, but I am curious if anybody actually "ENJOYS" this.
Remember they said that they want to make changes that maximizes the enjoyment for most of us.

I was wondering about this the other day when I hit the 166 wall and every impossible matchup was worth 50 points. Is this so I can't tell the folks I'm running into are 300-400 points ahead of mine?0

I think the important takeaway is that their "current points" fix is not working. You still have to go into the leaderboards to know how many points you actually got from each battle and to refresh the points shown in each node.0

I dont play pvp much, and not seeing the points of the opponent doesnt really bother me. The important thing to me is the amount of points gained for the battle.
If they really want to level the field they should hide the name of the opponents, and show their score instead. This would help stop alliances from coordinating shield hopping and all attacking the same poor guy decimating him/her. Then it would truly be a solo event instead of a gang bang.

I don't think the points even matter given that the high end scores are still grossly out of sync due to the very large movement in scores at that range. The points you see is just so far off from what they really are that it wouldn't matter which value you're seeing.
Matchmaking should be blind which is the standard in almost all competitive game (you don't get to look at your opponent being too good and then change your mind) but there's no way the health pack system would work out because you'd figure about 50% of the teams should be equal or stronger than your team unless you're at the top and that can lead to some very short playing sessions if you can't back out of a nasty fight. The weird thing is that most games can get away with this system because they're more restrictive on the number of games you can play. If you can only play 10 games period regardless of how good you are then it's probably okay some of those you can't possibly win, but of course such system punishes people who can actually win reliably and that'd make things a lot worse.0 -
Blind mmr would never work in this system, with its propensity to give you endless single digit matches0
