Issue with tiles that perform an action in a match.

Recently I've been seeing an issue with tiles that are supposed to perform an action when matched, specifically x-force wolverine's recovery tile and the caltrops trap the ninjas in the new pve event have. These tiles have been performing their action when destroyed by a 4 or 5 in a row match. They aren't actually being matched, just in the same row or column and being destroyed. This is on a 2013 moto x running android.

    Is that explained anywhere? And if that's true, then why does it only occur for those two specific tiles? Other traps and countdown tiles that perform an action when matched don't get triggered by the blast from a match 4 or 5, like Daredevil's red trap and the new NPC countdown tile that creates a strike tile when matched. It just the two I mentioned in my post.

    No, it happens to DD's red traps and as far as I know, to all of these type tiles.
    Countdowns are generally destroyed, but Recovery has that additional action if it's matched.

    Not that I've seen. It's one of the finer details of gameplay that most players will just have to pick up over time.

    I have no idea if it's a bug or a feature, but it's at least remained consistent since the first trap tiles were released. (Those were the first tiles to have an effect from being matched, right?)

    I've personally seen DD's new red trap just go up in smoke on a player-made match-4, instead of being relocated and doing half damage.
    Also, try 'matching' Daredevil's billy club tile with a match-4 or match-5 in a similar way: you won't be getting AP back.

    The behavior and terminology is nowhere near consistent.

    Dr.Oc passive also not counting external matched tile.

    I'm almost 100% positive that I've destroyed Daredevil's trap with a match 4 and it did just disappeared. I'll try and repro it again, but with something that specific I'm not sure I'll be able to anytime soon. And I know for a fact that Gorgon's Awaken the Hand countdown tiles do not create their attack tiles when destroyed with a 4 or 5 in a row match.
