Prodigal Sun problems during Elektra rewards run

Just trying to keep track of all the bugs that have gone on during the current run of Prodigal Sun, will help those that wanna argue they were disadvantaged by Dev problems, might get us some form of compensation.

-Scaling, on for some, off for some, then turned back on/fixed
-Events completely disappeared, PVE and PVP
-Points did not count towards total, some folks reporting the pts did kick in, others saying no

Feel free to add any bugs I may have missed

  • I've still been having issues with the game shutting down during matches. On top of playing and not getting points, no scaling at all for me no matter how hard I push I cannot break top 100, and got thrown in a bracket in the beginning where the leader already had 55,000 points. I had no chance at getting an Elektra from the get go. Thanks D3.

    Not a bug, but the brackets are filling at under a 100 a day, with most slices being open since like the first sub, so the death sharding makes it so it's mathematically impossible for you to get her, no matter how hard you try

    This. I like the idea of the PvE time fix, but brackets taking 5 days to fill is probably the worst change implemented to date.

    Would be nice if they explained that might happen up front, because there's no way they didn't see this coming.

    They wouldn't do that though, because the way it is now, they are more likely to make a profit. More time spent on game=more likely to spend money=more revenue for d3
  • I'm not fussed about D3 compensating or not, I just want the problems fixed for the next event... assuming I am still playing

    1. Scaling all wonky, either not active, double scaling (regardless of performance) or even starting way too high at the start of the event are the ones I have personally seen
    2.a. connectivity issues. causing points lag amongst other things
    2.b. Points/nodes reseting to back to an "undone state", but leaving your roster wounded in the "done state"... client/server inconsistency! This could lead to wasted buffs which may or may not have been bought via HP or Iso which could have been earned in game or purchased with real money.

    And it's not like we didn't point it out, a few times, on the forums. Very clearly...

    Still if you play your cards right and get a heads up on a slow filling bracket closing then you can get into a new bracket halfway through the event where there's barely any competition for the top rewards. Not great game design though - they really should drop the slices to 3 or reduce the size of the brackets a fair bit (with the trade-off being smaller reward tiers).

    I've just been dropped out of the same fight 3 times in a row. Nearly out of health packs now and I'm not sure how keen I am to burn through any more following this pattern. It's happened far more during this PvE (at least half a dozen separate occasions) than when playing the game before. Very irritating.

    Yeah, back when brackets actually filled that was silly, but when we're looking at brackets that started at the very begining of the 2nd sub, and still are only 3/4 of the way full? Yeah, maybe they shouldn't care about actually making brackets full

    Since we can't see where we placed at the end of an event now due, I assume, to a bug I have no idea how close I was to the top 50.
    I was 45th forty minutes before the end and ran out of characters. I was maybe 3000-4000 points above the guy in 50th. I don't know if I was 2000 short of 50 or 20,000 short, but I feel those who were a few thousand short should get the top 50 reward. The night the event disappeared I came home from work about 11pm, it didn't come back on until 2am. I'm normally up playing until 4am anyway due to how my shifts work, but that was a 3 hour window I could have used for a run that probably cost me a couple of thousand points.

    If they impliment this and I fall short regardless, that's fair enough. But if I would have scraped by with those missing points I feel a little cheated. I'd even be willing for the devs to fudge a blue cover Daredevil off me to pay for it since I'd otherwise not have earned it.
