Roster Advice

So I have rewards waiting in the wings as I refuse to wait on opening tokens til I have open slots (IM40 ; Falcon ; Invis Woman ) and I'm wondering who I should get rid of for any of them. I'll have enough to open another slot after this pve, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

I wanted to max the 2 star heroes so I'd have them for heroics. Was thinking Baby Daken and Punisher would be the odd men out. Thoughts?

Looking at your roster of three stars, I would get rid of Sentry, because his use value has dropped significantly.
Of the three you could add, I would only add Falcon. Invisible woman is a paperweight, and IM40 is very disappointing.

Get your Daken to 5/5/3 and use him with wolverine for climbing to save on health packs.

I wouldn't sell off IW, it is **** but if they redesigned XForce, they will update her too, possibly to scary levels? Devil Dino is something to trash (sorry...) since it will take year before you have chance for more covers and you would probably have to pay in HP to max him out, and then it's lots of Iso too to make character that seems closer to 3* than 4*s. 2* Marvel is something that might not be really helpful either unless you really need tech char for high level Bullseye nodes, Torchic outclases her easily. If you're scraping for more places, although leveled and not worth dropping for IM40, think how useful is Cap for you given all other options you already have in team.

If you have eight maxed 2*, DO NOT sell 3* or 4* characters. Sell the unmaxed 2* ones. Sentry, you could sell if you're going to get HP for it, and start over later. With every 3* you get going, the chance of you touching any 2* drastically goes down, and your 3* roster is only going to grow. I only use OBW and sometimes Storm at this point. Very occasionally, Mags or Wolvie, if they are boosted. But that's like, a few times in a few months.

Ms. Marvel, Daken, and even 2* Cap and Torch will be seeing pretty much no action as you develop (as they have better 3* counterparts). Once you have five or six solid 2*s, don't give any others ISO, and consider selling them to make spaces available in your roster.

After having my 2* team, Wolvie, Thor, OBW, Mags, and Storm, I figured I couldn't use my three stars, so I just maxed Bullseye and Ares and Torch a bit, and it was a waste. Totally unnecessary, and when I finally had a 3* worth pumping ISO into, I didn't have it. It took another two-three weeks to earn it at least. It slowed my transition that much more. Learn from my mistakes.

Besides Daken, the only reason to keep your unmaxed 2* would be if you want to be very competitive in PVE. Honestly, Hawkeye's ability is neat, but so conditional that I rarely use him, even with the druid Magneto. Ms Marvel 2* is totally unnecessary. I find 2* Cap to be the best goon killer before LCap, though a lot of people on the forums don't seem to recognize his potential.

Punisher is definitely expendable.

the best 2*s are

Ares, Daken, OBW, Mags MN, c Storm and maybe m Hawk to combo with mags mn too. after that you can use thor or wolverine to let ares heal w/o packs, but the best pairs on 2* are daken+ares and ares+obw.

that being said, you can just dump torch** and ms marvel for falcon and IW (a 4* is still a 4*). because next season IM40 will not be avaliable on heroic and above tokens you will be sitting in a bad hero with one cover for an entire season if not more.

I'm mostly maxing the two stars just for roster diversity in heroics and other limited roster events. Plus I've been using the stragglers in pve while the pvp team is out of healthpacks since I usually play in long sessions. I'm dropping IM40 since he seems fairly worthless and I'm opening the slot for IW. I was going to drop daken for falcon, but I'll probably be hitting the she hulk cover in the gauntlet and wonder if she would be better for transitioning than falcon. The guide seems to think so plus she's new enough that I doubt she'll get disney vaulted like all my other decent 3 stars.
