    I hope the next mid-season event will be No Man's Land.
    So, what slice has the highest points in the early week tournaments? That 1100 point Gamora cover is probably the main thing to go after here...

    I am completely on board with this plan as well. I will be joining Shard #1 with the 1100 Prog cover as my goal. Will not shield afterwards so others can grab pts. I will tell my Allliance the idea as well, see if we can get others into it...

    I will definitely post in here once 1100 is reached.

    I could try shard 1. 4AM ending time is not optimal for me, but when placement doesn't matter it can work.

    Translation I will go as high as I can using one 3 hr shield.

    In other news, I just shielded out at 1117 in Slice one. I might break at the last minute, but I've gotten my icon_gamora.pngblackflag.png and I don't need the icon_shehulk.png rewards, so it would be just for fun. Hit me if you've got me.

    Reached the 1100 cover with some timely help, will be breaking shield to throw pts out in a min from this time stamp. I'm in Slice #1 also if anyone is looking, will be staying unshielded to the end since I don't need covers.

    I' wouldn't have made it to 1100 without Gambl0r312 and j12601's help. Gambl0r312 you truly are a class act!

    I too will be paying it forward to those in my bracket because I don't need the covers.

    2000 points in non essential PVP out of season with rewards they don't need (except may be Gamora on 1100).
    I just don't get it.. they must be out of their minds - that's the only logical explanation I can come up with icon_eek.gif

    Slice 1; I just went up to 732, unshielded, ended up ~15th place. One nice thing about the earlier end times, and picking off-time slices, is that I'm going to be able to save a lot of HP on shields.

    Yes, I haven't bought many shields since the time slices were introduced - I was going to say none at all, but now I distinctly remember getting a three hour shield for the last minutes of one of the PvPs. Anyway, I usually just pick the slice that ends at 10PM local time and grind away the last few hours. It's usually good for a top 5 placement, which I haven't gotten in forever.
