Game Simplification -- easy steps.

The developers gave Simplification as the reason for removing "Doesn't End Turn" from Hood's Level 5 Twin Pistols. There are many other ways to make the game easier to play.
Remove percentages where possible, and replace with actual values or in-game indicators.
Daken .... Heals/Loses 7%/3% health per turn ---> Heals/Loses 476/204 health per turn. Give an up/down arrow.
IM40 .... 10% extra damage ---> State the new damage
Rocket&Groot .... If R&G are below 25% health ---> If R&G are below 2550 health, give an indicator.
Spiderman .... Increases base Protect Strength by 25% ---> State the protections per web tile.
Hulk .... Does 30% of the damage to allies ---> State damage.
Punisher .... Downs targets below 40% of max ---> Give an indicator, perhaps a tiny skull, when Punisher is playing.
Ares .... Ares is below 25% of max health ---> State value, give an indicator.
OBW .... 50% heal ---> State value
cStorm .... If every team member is below 50% health ---> Give indicator.
Wolverine .... If Wolverine is below 50% health ---> State value, give indicator.
Strongest Color -- needs an indicator for enemy's strongest color.
Nick Fury -- Escape Plan
Wolverine X -- Surgical Strike
Black Panther -- Rage of the Panther
Blade -- Nightstalker
Doctor Octopus -- Armed and Dangerous
Strike tiles / Protect tiles.
For each side, give an indicator for the current level of attack/protection on each side.
For example, when I'm running Stabbywings (Daken/Blade/Falcon) as a team, it takes awhile to add up all the strike tiles.
Tiles on the board -- many of these could come with indicators.
Thor4 - an additional 137 damage for each Charged tile on the board
Blade - for each friendly strike tile on the board
Blade - If there are 11 or more Red tiles on the board
Daken - If there are fewer than 9 Blue tiles
Hood - If there are more than 9 tiles of a color, steal 1 AP of that color.
Hulk - if there are more than 10 Green tiles on the board
Patch - damage for each tile on the board that bears his icon.
Patch - fewer than 10 Yellow tiles
Moonstone - damage for each Red tile on the board.
Gamora - for every 4 tiles that bear her symbol.
Character queue -- it would be nice to sort characters by ways other than by level.
Sort by max health
Sort by current health
Sort by color (pick a color)
Sort by levelabillity.
Weird crit multipliers -- just round these two up.
Psylocke - 3.8
Magneto - 3.2
Tile / Power disparities
With most characters, the order of their abilities matches up with their strongest/stronger/strong tile damages. The following characters all have tile / power disparities, in that their strongest tiles don't match up with the ordering of their colors.
Tile Dam .. Ability colors

-- - Black Widow (Grey Suit)
-- - Captain Marvel (Modern)
-- - Daken (both versions)
-- - Deadpool (It's Me, Deadpool)
-- - Doctor Doom (Classic)
-- - Hawkeye (Modern)
-- - Iron Man
-- - Loki (Dark Reign)
-- - Magneto (Classic)
-- - Spider-Man (Classic)
-- - Venom (Dark Avengers)
Are there any other weirdnesses / complications in the rules that could be replaced or removed?

This list needs more Venom. (Green strongest, not even one of his colors)0 -
I think there are programming (computers, math) reasons why characters' max levels are peculiar. But maxing a character at 150 or 175 sounds (and looks) cooler than 166. This probably isn't quite what you're talking about but rounding max levels to something divisible by 25 would be simplifying.0

There's also ragnarok. He's got only two match damage colors and they're both medium damage, and his 'strongest color' is red because...it comes first in their arbitrary way of displaying colors? Nothing about him makes any sort of sense.0

I think they we should consider adding "Sort by Featured" back. That way we can see all the boosted characters on a selection screen instead of scrolling through rosters for them.0

Some of this is stuff I'd like to see but really, adding a million widgets and HUD elements that rarely if ever are going to change what you actually do in the game doesn't make it "simpler" or "easier to use"0

I'd really appreciate a small skull sign on enemies' health bar that appears when the condition for Punisher's red power is met. I usually use a calculator instead which is fiddly. Maths is not my forté.0
