I have come to like the champ release rate

Background: I have played close to 1 year, and have 8 maxed 3-stars. The only thing I have paid real $$ for are roster slots, and I pretty much place high enough in every event to ensure 2 covers. I would consider myself a moderately heavy user. With all this, I generate no where remotely close to enough ISO to keep up with the rate at which champions are released.

At first, this bothered me. I was like, "I will never level all the 3-stars at this rate!" Now though, I have decided that this is a good thing. Having to pick and choose which heroes we level, each person will have a unique-ish roster, I will never put iso into a hero I don't legitimately enjoy playing (except Hulk, that char should just be removed, you can keep my 140k iso), and trying to choose how to customize my lineup is pretty fun.

I don't enjoy playing Hulk. I think the way his red punishes you for casting his green is super anti-fun.

Fighting Hulk, you can just forget about it. He literally punishes you for playing the game. Cast an ability, oh, sorry, that was a mistake. Match a lot of gems, oh, well, you're screwed now!

I like the character Hulk in principle, but his implementation here makes me very, very sad.

I find Hulk is one of the better designed characters. In the sense that his abilities are quite unique, and you really need to have a strategy when using or facing him. And also prepare some specialist characters (eg stunners) to take him on. In that sense there is some 'fun' involved in planning around him. Personally prefer characters to have some uniqueness like him, not just straight out damage types.

But Anger feeding Clap is, well.. it makes more sense to see an angry, smashing Hulk, than to see an angry, clapping Hulk.

I'm going to throw in a +1 support for this.
The core of the concept is sound. My only concern is demiurge's track record for design and testing. Beast, Doc Ock, and Colossus all had weeks/months of design and testing and look at what we got. If the release schedule gets shorter, there's going to be a flow on effect to the design and testing stages, so they really need to step up their game.

I feel like the track is currently okay, but it could definitely be a little slower. Two characters a month is sound enough, especially if they broke it down to a single 2* and a single 3*.

That being said, my go-to comparison in this conversation is always League of Legends. Their release schedule has been for quite awhile now that there is one old character majorly overhauled, one new character is released, and usually around a dozen Champions have their numbers tweaked each month -- with character tweaks usually also happening bi-weekly when needed.

That being said, League of Legends has a lot more data and a lot more things they can tweak to balance things in an overall sense.
