Keyboard hotkeys are broken (Steam ver)

I noticed that since the latest patch, certain keyboard hotkeys no longer work. Namely, Esc to access the pause menu, and Space to bypass messages. Losing Space is especially annoying, as I use it to get rid of attack popups and cycle through covers when I'm selling them.
