How to Handle On Fatal Attraction Event? (I'm getting crazy)

Guys, how do you hold still in this event? Honestly! I've been playin for 10 hours (non-stop) and I'm only top 77 right now. I only lost 1 versus, really only 1 defeat. While I'm on a versus, how can another player can attack me? That is just idiotic.

I'm on a match, I won 34 points and boom, - 73 points because I lost 5 other versus. But hello! I'm winning, what the heck?!

I've spent money and time on this game but I'm about to quit because of this idiotic event!
