And when you buy the comic pack, you don't get the character. Am I wrong here?

correct. You buy a cardpack.png with imcoin.png and are given a chance (a very slim one) of rolling that character because through their testing they found it's more "fun" for players.

Also I hope this fixes the crashing issue on iOS (both iPhone and iPad). I have never had this game crash as much as it has in this release. This game used to be solid. Matter of fact, it never used to crash at all, this release (r65) is full of bugs.
  • That 2.1% chance to get the required character is so awesome...not! icon_evil.gif
  • That "buy packs" button is going to get you a lot of confused and/or angry customers, just like the "buy iso" button on the leveling screen has. There are going to be a lot of people who think that means they get the character, not that they have a one-in-fifty chance at the character.

Sounds like they need to make a check on the cover packs to give you the essential 100% first draw if you don't already have the cover. Doesn't help that progression rewards can become more difficult to reach if you don't have it.
  • Another VERY Important update... (ironic) icon_e_sad.gif
What about informing us that nerfing Sentry and Hood is finaly live, after latest "little" update - it is not mentioned in last "newsletter"... You informed about "repair of the chat" but not about sneaky nerf...even it was announced it will happen.
As a paying customer, this game and Devs irritate me more and more...

That would be nice touch - that wouldn't let you "pay to win" your way to the top with a maxed character, as you'd have only cover (and even if you did go nuts on your remaining coins, a 5/0/0 is not going to be that scary most of the time.)

As it is, that new button just seems like unnecessary cruelty. For some reason it made me think of an analogy. Let's say you're going to see a movie that you've been looking forward to. For free, you get to watch the movie, except that it abruptly cuts off when the movie has 20 minutes remaining. You're given an option to purchase a chance at a ticket, which, if you get lucky, will let you see the whole movie. If you read the fine print (which is generally easy to find, in all fairness) you can see that the breakdown is roughly:
86%: cat turd that will make you sad
12%: decent consolation prize, which might make you smile, but you still don't get to see the last 20 minutes of the movie, which is why you bought the chance in the first place
2%: the golden ticket! You are happy! Life is Beautiful!
It's very likely that you'll sit there, gazing sadly into your empty wallet, thinking "I just paid real money for eight cat turds."

I hope it doesn't take 300% astronomically longer to load

Let's assume there's a veiled hint about a new character in here. Bountiful harvest... what characters are associated with farming or food in the Marvel Universe? We already have Colossus...

    From: http://marvel.com/universe/Thanos -->
Thanos himself was exiled by Warlock to an uninhabited planet, and he set himself up as a simple farmer, seemingly content to spend the rest of his days as a hermit.

    FOUR-STAR THANOS CONFIRMED!

    Also, Half-Life 3.

Gamora is said to come from D3 a few days ago, so I guess next PVE it's hers... And no old covers for my half covered heroes icon_e_sad.gif

    And...

The capital G has me worried. 5-star Galactus confirmed?
Didn't they say they were holding back on Silver Surfur because he was too powerful? This would be frightening.

Oh, no! I just thought of an amazing game mode! "MPQ vs Galactus"
I moved this idea to to its own thread here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=19706

I think the capital G Galactic is just supposed to refer to the Guardians of the Galaxy, with 3 of them being released and all.

    300% more Galactic = Grocket, Gamora, IronMan-GOG

300% more could just be Rocket, Groot, and Gamora. Also, we have the nature, animals reference. Gamora could be the other worldly being, but what about the "robots" reference?

So hoping for Void, but Sentinels would be cool to, if they were playable.

    How about other-wordly robots? I.e. Beta-Ray Bill?

Beta Ray Bill isn't a robot.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for H.E.R.B.I.E.
  • If the loading screen is not galactic at all right now - 0 galacticity in pseudoscientific nomenclature - then making it 300 percent more galactic means not changing it at all, right?
