---Hello,

If you calculate the healing time for them, you get;

the big tree guy = (8320-2404)/(88*60) = 1.12 HP / SEC
deadpool = (2940-1412)/(19*60+3) = 1.33 HP / SEC

Why does deadpool regenerates his HP faster than the other guy? They are both 3 stars, so on what is healing based? Higher level is slower healing / sec?
Because if healing was based on percentage of health, then you would get;

tree guy = 1/(1-2404/8320)*(88*60) = 7425.557 hp to go from 0% to 100%
deadpool = 1/(1-1412/2940)*(19*60+3) = 2199.227 hp to go from 0% to 100%

so does this mean that tanky characters with lots of HP but low damage are pretty useless? since they might be just as good as another hero with lower hp and higher damage, but they take much longer to heal?

    Certain 2*s and 3*s heal at 1.5x the regular rate. Wolverine, Daken, Hulk, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, Blade, Deadpool. Maybe some others I'm missing.

    Whoops, it is 2x. You'll notice it takes half the time for a downed healer to revive, so 3* healers will revive in 25 min, not 50 min.

    Previously, healing speed was all over the place. A few months ago, they finally got it standardized. Below are the rates.
      - 2* characters regain 18 health/minute - 3* characters regain 24 health/minute - 4* characters regain 30 health/minute - Characters with significant regenerative powers: Wolverine, Daken, Spider-Man, Hulk, and She-Hulk regain health at double the rate.

    That is before the buff.

    Your screenshots show two buffed characters. Groot has a major buff. Deadpool has a minor buff. The healing rates will scale to heal both of the characters in the same amount of time as when not buffed. That is, if the character usually takes 2hrs to fully heal, it will still take 2 hrs with the buff. You can see this if you view them in your roster or in an event that does not feature them.
  • Thanks for the answer, that cleared some things up.

    But now i have a new question.
    In the venom campaign, how do you clear the node with yelena (level 40) and two muscles (level 27).
    Every single turn those muscles create a tile with a timer. Either two tiles get +117 attack or they deal 600 damage to the entire party.
    But usually those countdown timers are somewhere in the corner of the map and impossible to get rid of. And if they do +200 to +400 damage on every attack, on top of their attack to attack three heroes at once.... I cant beat them. I can usually only kill 1 out of their 3 heroes.
    I tried it with lev45 rocket and groot (1/1/1), blade (0/0/1) and storm modern (1/3/3).
    (These are the people i can chose from http://i.imgur.com/Noyqx6p.jpg to use) But the problem is that by the time that i have enough blocks to cast one or two spells, i am already dead. So basically only the passive skills are usefull.

    Those types of nodes can be difficult. A lot of those nodes off to the side are meant to be challenges and a lot of the time it's easier to clear forward a bit before trying to tackle them.

    As for actual advice, I would try and level up 1* Black Widow, because her Blue is low cost and stuns the whole enemy team -- which stops the goons from placing tiles and stops existing ones from ticking down -- so it goes a long way to make those nodes easier. There is a node in the next chapter that has a chance to drop one of each color cover for 2* Daken whom grants self-healing and produces Strike Tiles to make things easier, as well as a node in the chapter following that that rewards one of each of the 2* Wolverine whom also has self-healing and Strike Tile generation. As far as 1* character are concerned, I would try and focus on Black Widow, Iron Man, and Storm. Iron Man is sturdy and has a really well-rounded tool box, Black Widow's global stun and AP steal makes her invaluable until you get her 2* version, and Storm's green is a great way to create cascades and/or generate AP while her black is a good source of DOT damage at that stage of the game.
