    That thread was created a whooping 30 minutes from your post. It was created around 6:30 PM Central (where I happen to live), a normal dinner time. As I've said a few times in the past, I have infinite amounts of respect for you (especially now after reading some things I didn't have privileged to before), but this is way out of line man.     30 minutes after it's creation? Yeah, maybe a little bit? Maybe "over zealous" would be a better way to put it, but really though, thirty minutes... icon_rolleyes.gificon_lol.gif

    EDIT: To be more specific, and a little more serious/less starky response, what leads you to believe that responding in a thread welcoming new moderators about moderation that needs to be done on a topic that's existed for thirty minutes wouldn't be instantly considered stark (or whatever other negatively connotative word you want to insert there)? If you want to make someone aware, Report the post/thread or PM a moderator that's online. I know you know these tools exist.

    All moderators have Green powers? We have lack of powers in the rest of the colors. Devs, balance the moderators and do not add new ones!

    Threads should only be reported when something is seriously wrong with a particular post.

    Currently, and then, there were no mods online.

    The main Sentry Hood thread should also have been re-stickied, along with a modded title ... (Live - 25 Nov)

    If you think I was out of line putting in a mod request after waiting 30 minutes, and that I should have waited 120 minutes for reporting something that needed Moderator attention, just hanging around and watching for one to come online, or putting it in at the two hour point - if you think I was grotesquely out of line for not waiting long enough, then you should follow the proper moderator procedures for egregiously damaging behavior.

    In my own opinion, the proper response to all reasonable moderator requests is "Done".

    Yeah, no offense, but that isn't even a single drop in the bucket compared to the never ending series of fires that Nonce had to deal with when he was the mod who actually visited the forums more than once a month. In particular, about moderation lag time. Since again, he was the only one who was available. So yeah, cut him a bit of slack

    I'm pretty sure he know all about moderating, so jumping down his throat about something like that is a tad out of line.

    So do any of y'all have the capacity when new characters are released to give the forum the info in the Character section a la IceIX used to do before he...well...I'm assuming he was possibly abducted by UFO's although lost his internet connection is also a viable theory.

    I've mostly done this for all characters over in the Character Compendium, but I don't have a complete write-up for Mystique or Grocket. I got the max info for these two from Colognoisseur, who is in the Retribution alliance.

    Green mods are volunteers, only the red names actually work for D3/DU

    I was back and forth about not responding this and letting it die, but in the name of clarity, I'll try one more time.

    It is my opinion that this way the wrong place to say anything, no matter how you slice it, and the timing was just icing on the cake.

    The report button has a "doesn't fit any of these bills" opinion and a text field. You could have created a PM (Bonus: CC'd it to the other two mods). If you had to make a post about it, you could have gave the courtesy of giving us say, half a day? Maybe even a single hour? As you said yourself, it wasn't exactly a pressing ordeal. Heck, just for the sake of argument, you could have just posted in that thread yourself and said something simple like "Hey, there's a thread for this already <link>".

    I don't think it's "grotesque", I just think it's rude. You didn't break any rules and I didn't imply you did, I just felt you were, again, being rude, so I said something. I think that there were several options that weren't posting in a thread welcoming the new mods to the board that they have work to do.
