Most fun team

So I have most of the decent characters maxed, like Sentry and Patch and I can beat pretty much any team. However their not that fun to play and since they nerfed (ruined) CMags I've been getting bored of playing. Who is the most fun team/character in PvP? They don't have to be high tier, just fun to play in the early stages of PvP. Perhaps 3* Storm, OBW and Psylock for constant power activations?

Wolverine (X-Force) -- Drain AP, slice and dice, heal. He's a lot of fun.
Captain America (Steve Rogers) -- The master of the long game.
The Hood (Classic) -- AP drain, and Twin pistols to set up something else.
Hawkeye (Modern) -- If you're good at getting match 5's, he's awesome.

Fun teams
Daken (Classic) + Falcon (Mighty Avengers) -- run up the strike tiles. Add a user.
Magneto (Marvel NOW!) + Storm (Classic) + The Hood (Classic) -- Ultimate AP collection.

I'm really enjoying Hood/Deadpool/X-Force in the current PVP. I've had a ton of defensive wins. Disclaimer: The wins might be due to the super-buffed Hood. It's harder to get rid of him quickly.

I second the Daken/Falcon/Torch recommendation. Boosted strike tiles with Torch's green are great once they really gets rolling.

Still in 3* transition. All 2*s maxed except bags bull and moon. for sheer speed mmags cstorm and mhawk. Three purple matches equal at least two crits. With speedshot and windstorm maxed all but the tankiest teams fall in 5 turns. Or freeze whoever wont die from it and get some free matches while stunned to repeat sequence.

I had more fun with MN Mags/Punisher/IM40 in the "everyone is 270 and I forgot the actual name" PVP than I should have. IM40's blue actually became usable with MNM.

Hulk/GSBW/Black Panther is fun... rainbow and anger.

Currently tho, I'm loving CMags and XForce. Cascade party all day long.

This. I'm running the same team this PVP and it's steamrolling everyone. I haven't received any defensive wins but that's because I haven't been attacked yet--I sat unshielded at 650 points for over 12 hours and wasn't attacked once. That never happens to me.

As others have said, Daken, Falcon and Torch are good, but I like to swap out Torch for Thor. Match green and get strike tiles, match yellow and get Inspiration and both feed Thor's awesome abilities.

Something fun I do from time to time is to make up challenges for myself. Like saving enough Ap to use all active abilities at once. Then use all of them in one move. (Just dont use GSBW and Thor together, that requires too much green)

Or, another personal challenge I made was to use Steve Rogers, MN Mags, and Hood. Then I try to gather a ton of blue and purple Ap. I use Mags purple/pink to generate more blue. Then I use Caps blue to try to keep all 3 opponents stun locked. Most I've ever managed was 2 enemies, when I try for all 3, one of them will un-stun. Of course with Thorette's triple Ap gain from charged tiles, I may be able to do it one day.

Also, a 3rd challenge is to see if I can beat a high level team without using any active powers. None. A 4th is to play against 3 goons in the proloque with 3 low level characters and see if I can win the match with out taking any damage.

Some of the challenges I set for myself are kind of silly, but it's a fun way to keep the game interesting. It also gives me a little sense of accomplishment when beat one of my challenges.

I'm really partial to the Xforce/CMags/Deadpool group lately. It's rainbow covered with actives for Surgical Strike, plus this gives TONS OF CASCADES. Considering half of this group's abilities cause board shake up, this is a lot of fun to play.

Unless your GSBW is underleveled you can't even do this. 14 + 19 = 33. AP is capped at 30.

So you use Sniper Rifle, then Deceptive Tactics, then Call the Storm. Simple!

I never bothered to count up how much it would take. That was just an example, like using IM40 and Classic Storm. The main reason I never tried them together was I was afraid the enemies would all die before I could use the rest of my powers. Finding a way to use all the abilities before the enemy team are all dead is part of the challenge. 2 powerful AoE attacks back to back would be too much damage. And, it costs too much Ap.

He said you have to save enough AP to use all the abilities at once. Saving enough AP for one ability that generates AP for another is against the rules.

He said you have to save enough AP to use all the abilities at once. Saving enough AP for one ability that generates AP for another is against the rules.

I admit, I have used a few Ap gain abilities to help out. I think you just improved the challenge a bit. Use all active abilities in one turn without any of them being Ap gain. I guess that would be 2 seperate challenges in a way, but I'm going to limit myself to not using Ap gain powers and see how I do. Another way I "cheat" is I use mostly cheap abilities.

I am the crazy hobo who still thinks bullseye is fun.

Need to be able to get 32 black AP though, which is doable but challenging. Certainly not an everyday team but Hood/OBW/Bullseye can pull off the combo nicely. Enough defense tiles negates match damage, and you have all the AP with two thieves. Can use AR or Twin Pistols to get the last few blacks you need for Bullseye's 4 crit assassination. Best results in balance of power. Immensely satisfying to pull off regularly.

Now i really need to try iMags/hawkeye/bullseye just to see if it works...sounds fun though

Sentry / Panther / Falcon But I also enjoy the Sentry / Psylocke combo - saves you the need for a Sacrifice tile.

lately I've been using punisher/mag/loki in simulator and its been one of the funnest teams i've played with, so much board shuffling and cascading between magnetized projectiles, illusions and judgement. surprising how much damage can happen with a few judgement strike tiles out for MP+ illusions making matches everywhere.

strike tiles, protect tiles, attack tiles, shuffling, board clear, little team damage and sometimes trickery if I run into a birdstrike or something.

You could use with and then you need 16 and 16 , which is a lot more feasible.

For funsies and in PVE I've enjoyed stuff like...
+ just about anyone else since the goal isn't to kill, but see how ridiculously large you can get those protect tiles. You can kill at any time with his red anyway. So it's sort of like playing a ridiculously slow M:TG control deck with 1 kill condition (and to be fair, I've run ones with no win conditions casually, getting wins solely through opponents conceding out of frustration.)

Add or for constant AP to keep those stunning blues going, or for another kill condition with all of that yellow you're gathering to boost the protects. With a board full of blue and yellow Cap protects, I've definitely taken a Call of the Storm that did 1. Yeah!

Dreadfully slow to play

I don't have any levels on , but he's fully covered and I quite enjoyed using him in the Heroic alongside grey and , making a goal of getting every purple tile into a Speed Shot tile. Only problem was that in getting there... enemies usually died before those could go off.

I'd like to try at some point. I've used IM40 with Storm before (mine's 2 yellow) in PvEs and it's not quite iMags/Cstorm, but he's still great at supplying

And since I play a lot of Patch/Daken (early climb team, LR go to)... playing the SexMagnet team (XF/CMags) has been a welcome and refreshing change of pace. Just maxed CMags recently, and he still needs another , but it's fun to win with skills that just move the board around a whole lot.
