Do i have any shot at top 300 pvp? (Hood)

All of my matches are lvl 94's and my highest lvl is a 78 (followed by 55). Regardless of how many time I skip there are no people around my level. I'dl ike to get top 300 out of my 500 person bracket to get the storm cover but am starting to think there is nothing I can do for my MMR with only 18 hours left.

Any help would be great.

    Have you tried tanking any of the nodes? By tanking I mean you take your lowbie star.png or even star.pngstar.png and lose. Sure you'll lose a little bit of pts doing this but it could help your MMR so that you can continue on and see some more teams that are even approachable. Right now all the computer sees is a string of wins and probably very few losses, which will skyrocket your MMR very quickly. Moving forward, I would suggest tanking a few matches before you get going!

    I'll try that for some reason I thought that I could only really impact my mmr for the next event and it was too little too late for this one.

    one question
    for the tanking, does it count when you are attacked or only when do you actively start fight?

    You should tank in the Simulator instead of in The Hunt so you don't hurt your score there. As for MMR, it's impacted both when you attack and when you're attacked.

    if there is a PvP you really need to make top 100 in, I would wait until there is like 45 left, set up seed teams when it opens but don't play any matches.

    With 45-30 minutes left, with all you health packs and some boosts for the last few matches, hit it hard.

    That's what I used to do when I had a weaker roster. Sometimes it looks like you won't make it , you are like in the 300s or something but it jumps a lot with a few wins because teams are so close. I have actually been in pools that had not reached maximum number of players by the end.

    Anyway, just something you might consider, it sure helped me a while back

    I will certainly try that on the storm one.

    But I am pretty frustrated right now. (Let me clarify that I am still enjoying the game and think it is awesome) but I want to finish top 300/500, top 60% which means I want to fail but barely... right? Why is it so hard?!? I tanked 9-12 games and saw some changes, won one, and now am seeing players lvl 140 and higher, twice my highest characters level!.... isnt the point of MMR to keep that from happening? I am ranked 291 right now, fingers crossed... the cover wont event help me that much lol.

    Sorry for whining i'll go eat some cheese.
