Can anyone confirm The Hunt's format, subs etc.? Wasn't in the format guide

Same as Thick as Thieves - three subs that run twice each on a staggered schedule. So you get Sub A, then Sub B starts before Sub A finishes, then Sub C opens around the time that Sub A closes, then Sub B closes and a second run of Sub A opens up, and it continues like that until Sub C has fully run a second time.

Hunt has a lot of overlapping subs, three of them that repeat. It's possibly the single most confusing PVE, but it tends to pay out in lots of stuff.

Also it was the first event to feature a playable Devil Dinosaur!

I wonder if we'll be able to use the 4* version in that fight...

Have they ever released character in back-to-back pves? I was thinking this one would be an off one; it's usually every other PVE.

Pretty sure that was the way they did things back in the Lazy Thor days...I could be wrong but it sure felt like every event released a new character in those days.

They also weren't running PVEs back-to-back, then. Since we started the "if there isn't a PVE now, there will be no later than noon tomorrow" era, they've always spaced them out a bit; usually one on, one off, occasionally - when something odd is going on, like the Gauntlet, or the anniversary - two off.

I'd imagine she will be in addition to progression reward.

I don't really remember more than a day or 2 of down time even then...but the days do all kinda blur together after a while.

We had like three weeks between them sometimes way, way back, when characters weren't being released very frequently.

If you keep your tokens for PvE events such as The Hunt, the token page will typically show the new event a day before the event is actually released. OP probably had an old hunt token, and now saw that the hunt token page was updated with Blade.

The Hunt is pretty middle of the road when it comes to PvE event, but Florida can easily be in contention for the worst PvE sub. It's got a stupid number of nodes and Daken and Ares are everywhere. The other two subs are fairly reasonable, though Savage Land sometimes had a really insane scaling factor.

Just **** awesome. 3 new characters in 2 weeks, there goes 1900 hero points for jazz hands, Hunt essential nodes, and a who knows? 3 star that it will be 3 months before covers are available in token draws.

Eh, unless D3 is going to reverse course and put a 2* into the essentials rotation long-term, you're okay to just throw Ms. Marvel in the recycling after the Hunt ends and use that slot for Blade.
