PvP 1400 Progression Award

Has anyone ever achieved the 1400 progression award? Or anything over 1000?? It seems downright impossible considering most tournament winners settle somewhere around 600. I guess you could just grind about 100 missions in one sitting but that would take around 5 hours.

  • Not the way the points system is borked right now. I've gotten 1100's before but now you'll get knocked way down well before you get even that far.
  • With the way retaliations are currently working I doubt it. But before this mess a few had been up to 1400 (I know has Polkio for sure).

I was regularly over 1000 back then and my team sucked compared to what it is now but yeah, I got to 500 in the Widow tourney the other day then just put in the tanking team.
  • A few people have in the past, but currently the scoring system is borked, as Elementalor says. It is really tough though. Helps if you push for it during a lull in player activity, less chance other players will retaliate/attack you, dragging you back down.
  • A dev has said in the suggestions forum (too lazy to link; go find it yourself -- in a thread about removing point loss) that the PvP system will be updated in the next patch and they're aware that some of the progression awards are not currently reachable.

    So, here's hoping.

As was said, a few people made 1400 before the PvP scoring system went into the ****. But even then it was rare and difficult. Since the change I'm not sure that anyone has even made 1100; although I know a number of people have miraculously made 1000.

I've made 800 since the change. Once.
  • I've seen this in a few different places and I don't really understand it.

How do you put in a tanking team?

You just choose a your tank team, go into a battle, hit the pause button and retreat. Once you're on the choose opponent screen again, choose that opponent again and yield to them. From this point on, that will be your defensive team, unless you change teams again. You just sit back and let people beat you.
  • I've been to 1100 in both avengers events and it was tough going after 750 I can't wait for the point change to get here I didnt play no mans land or widow rewards not worth the effort

Do you guys think that decreasing the length of tournaments would make it easier to achieve rewards and progression rewards? Im not talking about lighting rounds. I mean make tournaments that only last 1 day, or 2days instead of 2days+9 hours. I also think that resetting times every 6hours 4 times (24hours) in Hulk tournaments would help. The lesser the time, the less you have to worry about getting knocked down. The highest i made it in progression is 710 (#1) in the black widow event but i went to the beach came back and saw that i lost 150 points. So the leadboard was dropped to 600.
  • It's not a matter of the length of the tournament. Because once you hit like ~700ish, you start getting knocked down, almost immediately.

Yeah, back before the PvP scoring messed up, I often did 1100 in 2 sessions, not uncommonly all in one day

Apparently the devs are working on this on for the next update.

I did it at dark avengers event. And it was 2 days something event so 1400 was achievable. But not now - now 1000 is unachievable. I hope they change scoring in future
