Halloween Themed MPQ Suggestions

With the details of the spooky R63 released it's time for us to put on our thinking caps and get cracking on some ideas that would make MPQ have a truly Halloween feel.

Some suggestions I came up with were:
- easiest by far, the incorporation of Jack O' Lantern on the front loading screen (as a new character would be a pipe-dream)
- the turning of the shield points icon into skulls
- ISOween: a pve where you have one day to go trick 'n treating (thoughts on expanding this idea most welcome)
- Deadpool being deadpool on this creepy day - Change his tile icons to resemble toilet paper
- some Marvel zombies getting in on the act
- CANDY!!

    They could add Blade and vampire-themed PvP.

    Just saying, but I'm probably reading way too much into one movie reference.

    I doubt you are. IceIX generally doesn't drop those references by accident.

    (I'm holding out hope for Blade and the classic Gene Colan/Marv Wolfman Dracula, but that's probably not happening.)

    It would be great if there was a Halloween event but I bet they'll just run a Loki PvP cos he is the trickster icon_lol.gif Keeping my expectations low.

    With all the development behind everything in MPQ, I'm not sure this suggestion could be followed for 2014, but considering the success of the Anniversary week, I'm sure they will invest some time for festive events in the future.

    Yeah, to be perfectly honest, I'm not expecting anything. I'd be surprised if anything...

    Since when did DC join Marvel in this game?

    On topic: They should make all characters "Zombie-skinned". Also, goons should have pumpkin heads instead of their actual ones.

    I wouldn't expect anything. Based on the way they've answered questions and suggestions, they don't even have the resources to properly balance their characters.

    For most games, I would think that the character balance team had nothing to do with the new content team, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

    The third game will be Amalgam Puzzle Quest. Launches with Dark Claw and Iron Lantern. Super Soldier is the first new character. icon_lol.gif

    I would say do nothing for Haloween and do an anniversary type week around Christmas. Tis the season of giving, and they should give more anniversary type tokens durring that week with double ISO and double HP!!!

    As much as I would like costumes is they have to get them approved through Marvel and that is a process. With changing icons to pumkins, they would have to spend a lot of time in codeing. They already have the coding for the anniversary week so by doing a holliday week of giving in theory would be relativly easy. It might spoil us a little but isn't that the point of the hollidays?
