In poll results The List V2 - Results, X-Force Wolverine was the runaway favorite for getting a buff. Within a few months, he got a great buff. Hawkeye got one, too. There was also the poll Which 3* Most Needs a Buff?.

We've got some new characters now, and some game dynamics have changed, so I've started a new poll.

Over in the character forum, I've started a new thread for how to change various existing characters, the Character Engineering thread. Feel free to post proposed new powers there.
Failed to load the poll.

  • Invisible Woman - all day, erry day. She's just not up to snuff with the other 4* characters (besides Devil Dino).

Seeing Thoress during the lightning rounds really drove this point home for me.

I talked about this some in the thread If Force Bubbles cost 5 AP.

EDIT -- I knew I should have left off Hulk and put in Bagman.

Yeah, I saw that - that's how I'd like to see things go. The Force Bubbles power should be the quickest power - she puts them up at the speed of thought, after all.
  • I do like the concept of Sue being a mostly defensive character, but yes, her force bubbles and protect tiles need to come much quicker. Much, much quicker. The way she currently is, you can leave her for last in sim. Ideally she ought to be one of those defensive characters you need to take out quickly before they disrupt your tactics massively, like Spidey or OBW or Falcon.

Voted for Invisible Woman, Storm, and all 2-cover characters.

Invisible: see above, I agree with it.

Storm: at least give her some more health, damn.

    Villains:
    I don't see how:
    - The God of tricks and lies would only have two items in his bag of tricks
    - A cybernetic god has only two uses for a massive hammer
    and
    - One of the most villainous masterminds in the history of villainy has less (or the same) tactical choices than (as) the robots in the army that HE CREATED

Now, I would have no clue how to fix them, and there have been some decent ideas, but I just think it's setting to slight them like that. Not cool, man. Not cool.

These 3* characters need a reduction in cost of abilities:
IM40-reduce AP cost by 5 on red/Blue loos the AP drain, GSBW-drop Sniper rifle to 12-14, Loki-Trickery down to 8AP
    These 3* need a 3rd power:
Loki, Rags, Dr Doom. Anything just make them be able to play at 166.
    These 3* need a tweek:
Spiderman-Make his stun like Venom's where it can hit the entire team.
    She-Hulk-Make reprieve a damage ability
Storm-Give the mutant some health for tinykitty sake!! or reduce the cost's on all down to 6-8AP
Doc Ock- Green-make it do 2k AOE damage and pick 1 extra thing it does and make it good not do everything and do it bad. His black is awsome by the way!!
These 3* take back to the drawing board
IW 4* are now really 4* make her one.
Dare Devil- How many traps can you set and have nothing work icon_question.gif A lot icon_exclaim.gif
Try this red 7 AP works like demolition 5 traps random. Blue 8AP: DD turns the lights out on the enemy team stunning the 1st person for 2 turns and the team for 1. Purple 7 AP drops 5 traps that when sprung steals 6 AP from all colors. Now support wise he is playable in PVP and his blue is usefull in PVE.
Beast- was a great concept with the blue making everything better, too bad better just means mediocre. Make him all support or all damage not this horrible hybrid.
Dino Devil: I have a big head and short arms. I don't think your thought this character through very well.
  • I voted for everyone but She-Hulk, Hulk, and Falcon. Falcon's a good supporting character in certain situations, She-Hulk's a middling one (I'd put her within shouting distance of Psylocke), and Hulk doesn't belong on this list.

How is Daredevil not up there? At this point he's simply a blind man hoping villians land into his punches (thugs are laughing to hard to move).

Bullseye, and Moonstone should not be buffed too much. It may make them better on offense, but they will just be that much harder to fight. However, I voted for all 3* s with 2 abilities because they need a third. IW, most definitely. She has no place as a 4* in her current condition. Her little brother, 2* Torch would make a better 4* than her. IM40 should have his Ap costs reduced.

Falcon could use some kind of offensive ability. His yellow works great with characters like Bullseye, Daken, Patch, or Storm. But what about the matches where you have no strike, protect, or attack tile generaters? (and yes, I know Falcon generates protect tiles, but I'm not counting those) Situational abilities, like Falcon's blue and yellow, work great in certain situations, but only then.

Maybe if Falcons yellow was like OBW's blue. Falcon inspires friendly tiles and does damage to the enemy. If no friendly special tiles are on the board, he does double damage. Or if Falcon's blue was - Red Wing damages enemy and then flies off to cover special tile. If no enemy special tiles are on the board, Red Wing does same amount of damage, but instead of flying off to cover tiles, he flies around the enemies head destracting them, (effectively stunning them). Something like that would make Falcon far more useful IMO. Right now, I only use him against goons or maffia.
