Presumably not everyone is familiar enough with Marvel lore to know Capt. Marvel and Ms. Marvel are both Carol. This way it's pretty obvious why you can't use them on the same team to everyone. It's icky and I'd probably have just done Carol Danvers (*alias*) to avoid confusion instead.

EDIT: On the topic of tokens. I'm starting to remember why I thought people were insane for saving standard tokens...after close to 100 I got 1 3* (I might use it but probably not)...ISO now is definately preferable to opening hundreds of these things for marginal chance of something useful.

EDIT2: Final tally 149 Standards 2 3*s...at least the 2-10 Packs were full of gold.

I'm about a third of the way through the standards. I've gotten five golds, which is a little above expected. Four of them have been useful:
Yellow Lazy Storm (from earlier)
Black Doc Ock
Green Doc Ock
Red Classic Mags

Also, I pulled a Green Sentry that I didn't need.

I've already pulled about twice as many useful golds out of the standards as the average would have out of the whole batch of standards. Going well so far.

I wouldn't mind this too much, but combined with the 25+ anniversary tokens I've had that had 2 beast covers and one Invisible Woman, I'm pretty much hating the token system right now.

Decided to note my results today. I had been stockpiling Heroic Tokens and 10-packs for a bit, but opened them at the start of the previous Season when there was still no news forthcoming on when new 3-star characters would be added to packs. Ive had really bad luck.

Opened 4 10 packs and have one gold cover out of 40. Others in my alliance are reporting this too so Im not sure if the drop values are correct so superstitious or not I'm not opening my reaming 5 10 packs today. I opened 35 single tokens and received 5 golds in those and the 10 packs should have higher percentages for gold covers.

I did get about 7 gold covers on 380 standard tokens.

All in all I gained 70k iso today and 2 colossus covers so its not all bad.

So of the 17 3*s I needed, I got 9, I think - still need Colossus (Black and 2 Red), Beast (3 Green), Doctor Octopus (Black), and Classic Mags (Red, for respec).
Of the 17 4*s I needed, I got 3 - still need a green X-Force for respec, 2 green IWs, 7 covers to be determined for Nick Fury (I need to actually look at his build now), and 2 Reds and 2 Greens for Devil Dino.

Very good haul overall, though almost all of it was in the standards. The heroics were a little disappointing, and the 10-packs were about what was expected.

I opened 44 Heroics and 6 Heroic ten packs.

Heroics: 13.6% 3/4* draw rate
10 packs: 18.3% draw rate.

I had a 50/50 aggregate chance at Fury and managed one pull. I got two useful covers to respecc older characters, BP and Daken.
Otherwise I got two "new" characters: Deadpool (Whales) and Beast (Medical Marvel).

I just banked 44,000 ISO after using the 5 useful covers and starting a 2* Daken. Not the best, not really worth the wait, but acceptable.

As of a week ago, I was planning on opening mine since I wanted some covers. But then I won them and maxed him out for Tex Mex.

I'm sitting on:
124 Standard
71 Heroic
7 10xHeroic packs

The only 3&4 covers I'm missing at this point are (3/5/4), (3/3/2), (4/2/3), (3/3/3). And is 4/5/4, so I'd like 1 more to get her to 3/5/5. So a total of 15 covers that could be of use. Except, really only and are ones I'd find useful. So I think I may keep hoarding until shows up. Unless maybe the next new 3* to go in there is worth having and using.

Even the they would bring is not really an incentive at this point. Just broke 400k today with the LRs (up at least 70k from them), so there's no rush on that.

I opened about 180 of them (9 10 pack, ~90 heroics) and got like 3 useful covers out of it. I got a 3 4*s (Nick Fury blue, Nick Fury purple, IW blue). I think the most of a character I got was 4 covers (Dr. Octopus and Spiderman). It'd be quite depressing if I had to pay for those tokens.
