Question about points...

Ok, so my question is this. When you're shielded and protected, I know you don't lose points, but when the stats box sometimes pops up what does it mean when it shows you a list of the people who attacked you and in parenthesis it has a number? Again, I know you're not losing points from 'your' score, but does that mean that you still lost that battle and that's the points they gained on you for that battle? Or, is it something else???

    The number shown next to the name is the points that they gained by defeating you while you're shielded. So it's the points that you would have lost had you not been shielded.

    Just another question. Does the ranking start from beginning with every new tournament?

    In a way yes. Everyone starts at 0 points at the start of a tournament.

    However, people are put into brackets based on performance in the last few tournaments and roster strength supposedly. So new players play against mostly new players, while veterans fight it out amongst themselves.
