I need some help

So, quick backstory: I was a day one player and played straight through right around until Alliances first came out. Been having the itch to come back, so I picked up and started playing again. Since I've been gone so many characters have been added, powers have been changed, and the meta game is completely different. I have looked through the forums for as much info as I can, but when I look at my roster which at one time was great, it seems like now I am so far behind I don't know if I can catch up. Hell, I don't even know if I've made the 3* transition anymore! It's just a lot, and it wasn't even easy for me to write this post asking for help to begin with. Below is my current roster. Just trying to figure out who I can sell to clear up roster space and get some iso, and also any team combos I should try out to get some new covers I guess. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lol I feel sorry for you man. Your top 3 used to rule the world now they've been nerfed to smithereens ( probably not cmags as much cause I still use him occasionally for goons). As for catching up, of course you can. You will eventually get what you want if your willing to wait weeks months years depending on how much your willing to spend. I personally don't see the need to keep bullseye moonstone loki dd and all 1 stars that isn't juggs. Skill your patch and hood up they'll be useful. You have essentially become a 2 star transition player with some not very useful high levelled 3 stars. Just plod along with the rest of use and eventually you'll get there.

Rags - nothing. Pretty much the worst.
CMags - still good,
Spidey - far less powerful than he was, but still serviceable as a support character. His purple is not bad against Sentry WR.
GSBW - several of my alliancemates use her a lot in PVE. She's outclassed in PVP by 3* Thor, Sentry, XF, BP, etc.
The Hood - still a top-tier 3* character with 4-5 blue covers.
3* Rogers - still a PVE monster and pretty decent in PVP.
OBW - True Healing means her healing doesn't boost your fight-exit health. You'll always exit a fight with the lowest health values that your characters attained at any point during the fight, unless you're using True Healing self-regenerators like the Wolverines, the Dakens, and Deadpool.
MHawk - major buff which most notably swapped out Avoid for Speed Shot, which is just a killer passive, generating a couple thousand in CD-based damage for every match-5 your team makes.

Everyone else - not much to say. No big changes I remember.

If your interests is in PvP, then your roster is still pretty good. A pair of 166 character (almost any pair) will let you stabilize at 5-600 points in pvp without a shield. Even if you're running a weak combo like Magneto + Spidey, nobody is going to attack a pair of 166 when they can hit a pair of 94s for the same points.

5-600 points is always good enough for one cover. If you have time to push right at the end to 7-800, you can hit top 25 pretty reliably. Join a top 100 alliance and you will be getting 2-3 new covers every event. That'll get you on track pretty quickly.

You are definitely not a 2-3* transitioning anymore. The most difficult part of making that transition is scrounging up enough cover to get your first two 166, and you're past that.

> Keep all 3* coz all of them featured on pvp. Dr.Doom quite underestimated but since u've full cover on him u might want to max him. On140 health 7K n his summon demons pretty painful. His partner would be mn.mags : P.shift>tech.strike>summons demons. Or m.hawkeye : tech.strike increase chance of speedshot.
> For 1* u can drop up to 3/4 of them (venom,im35,mbw). U can keep ur fav char for PVE (usually mstorm) or for irregular PVP like combined arms n balance of power (juggs).
> For 2* drop : moonstone, bullseye
This way u'll have 5 free slot.
