  • For what it's worth, the new Venom Heroic also has event tokens, not anniversary tokens.

But the Venom heroic doesn't have a pretty rainbow "Anniversary" tag above it either.

Neither did Deadpool vs MPQ. Tag is for PVP events
  • I remembered comic Con, but forgot they have travel back from comic Con today and I think Columbus day may be a holiday in that part of the country. So, this might take longer than normal to get an answer.

Touché... But Deadpool vs MPQ was part of the voted for events. Since only one PvE event was voted on for anniversary, I just assumed other PvE events wouldn't be part of it.

They reported the second- and third-place events, though (Hulk and Simulator), which implied that they might, y'know, do something with that information. Instead of re-running this relic for the second time in what, six weeks?

I actually understand why they chose heroic. Dp pve is short, so they threw another short one to bridge till Friday. I'll do pve for iso and progressives, but will otherwise take it easy, which is not the worst consolation prize with GT season probably starting this Friday.

There's no reason a 2-round Simulator couldn't have been run, or even a Hunt with only a single repeat of all 3 stages at one day each. The Venom Heroic though, is just a complete **** insult to the playerbase. ESPECIALLY after all the accumulated negative feedback that event got here the last THREE times it was ran.

If you choose to only look at the downside, that's not my issue.

I feel bad that you're missing out on what is available because your e spending so much time on what is not right. You can make the most out of this week and still rant about the short comings afterwards.

Yes, the devs spent hours trying to decide which event would offend the most players. It was a close call between H:Venom and H:Oscorp. icon_rolleyes.gif Good thing you and half the forumites know exactly the correct way to respond to intended offense.

Lets look at this from another perspective. If we keep getting awesome events after awesome events we would take things for granted and will keep expecting more. Giving us a **** event or 5, **** mechanics such as true healing and insane scaling will keep us grounded and make the better events all the sweeter. This approach has certainly worked with me, I am no longer phased with whatever ill thought out plans d3 carries out knowing that they will periodically re/introduce fun mechanics and rewards systems so as to avoid general riot. The problem is that we all take their awesome events to be the norm. They are the exception, if you take their bad events as the norm then you wouldn't feel as bad. Win win!

My goodness. You are a genius. What have I been doing with my life? All this wasted time trying to rage against the dying of decent communication and customer service. Why? Why did I do this to myself? Expect the worst, and you will never be disappointed. I.......I......I think I love you.

  • Can't you guys see it? Rags is being pulled out of rotation next Season so they can as they put it, "work on him out of the spotlight". This can only mean he is getting an inevitable buff that will put him out of the bottom of the food chain, back to the top where he once was. Or close to it.

Then when that happens, all of you who thought "Ragnarok covers? Who needs them?" *Sells for ISO* will be screwed over.

Oh, there's plenty of time available for ranting between the extensive artificially enforced cooldown periods called 'health packs' and the 2.5hr refresh periods on PvE events. Don't worry about that.
