Losing points while shielded!

Has this happened to anyone else?I lost points from 942 down to 824 while I had an 8 hour shield up. I tried to break the shield earlier but the app showed me a connection error and said that the shield COULD NOT be broken, so I left it. And then a few minutes later I started losing points while the shield was still in place and when I clicked on the shield it said that the shield was still holding but clearly it wasn't! I need those 120 points back!
