Changing an alliance name

Is there any way that the name of an alliance can be changed? I can't seem to find a way of doing so.

    Never done it, but I would assume you would have to be a commander and email D3 to change it, just like if you wanted a IGN change. On the other hand, they might not even allow it. Either way, best to email support to ask.

    Yeah CS can change it if you send in a support ticket.
