Following on the steps of viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17361 we've arrived to the final batch of polls! Purple time it is! Unsurprisingly, there are very few purple powers (while Red has too many). To keep it in line with the other polls, though, I will not be adding 1 and 2 star.png purple powers even if there would be room for them.

    Dpool and Fury are the only 2 I voted for. Both can be very devastating.

    Deceptive Tactics is good, too. Easy way to get crits and green AP.

    I've started counting teams as rainbow teams even without an active purple. It's just a terrible color.

    Seems like kind of a cheat to vote for 3 out of 6 purples. I would have voted for OBW as well. Maybe add the 2* abilities to this poll.

    Radar Sense would actually be pretty good if it didn't cost so damn much. If it was 7-9 AP I'd be much more careful about taking on Bagdevil.

    I'm throwing a vote to Polarity Shift. It's like purple AP -> small amounts of all other AP, especially blue if you set it up right. Lots of cascade potential. Almost always generates a critical, or a critical enabling situation. If you've already got a critical out there, you can line up a ton of blue against it doing devastating damage. At 9AP it's not too expensive either.

    I think we should redo this poll with the 2* abilities added in.

    Sure, go ahead. Also redo all the other polls with the 2* abilities factored in to keep all polls showing the same pool of data. Just be warned that once you are done, people will pester you for not adding Widow Sting, Headbutt and other 1* abilities. And don't forget that there's a limit of 15 items for polls in this board...

    No no no, it'd just be for Purple to point out how much d3 neglects Purple, and a 3/6 poll is kinda pointless. Fury's power will win just due to 4* levelling. Further Mags 5 blue for 9 AP is generally better than BWGS' 6 green for 11 AP. I couldn't in good conscience vote for BWGS without mentioning MNMags, if we consider all powers in a vacuum.

    There are 14 active Purple powers in the entire game across all characters! We could have all active purple powers in a single poll.

    Yeah, there's definitely a dearth of purple abilities but I don't think it would be necessary to add the rest to showcase the issue. I think it is more poignant to display the tiny size of the pool, compared to all the others (it's less than half the size of the next smaller pool!) I completely agree that Aggressive Reckon is the best purple ability and indeed, one of the most powerful abilities in the whole game, but that's not what we're trying to find here. I'm trying to keep it within the group of the characters that you are actually expected to pay for in some way (money/time/effort) to get.

    Deadpool and Fury have a great purple ability. Grey Widow has a fairly useful one. And I'd also name Aggressive Recon here.
    Birdstrike is convenient, but not an outstanding ability IMO.

    Daredevil manages to get a point in what can only be imagined as a misclick! It's a bit sad that in a group with only 6 powers, there's still a "bottom" category.
