Question about my defending team

So I know that my defending team depends on my last win. However I wonder if that is also the case for retributions? Sometimes I attack an opponent who was 2 2* with storm/magneto. VS stronger opponents I use my 3* which are around level 140. Also of or my defense team I use those (mostly including hulk). But to my surprise I sometimes get attacked by really weak opponents and I wonder if he saw my normal defense team or my relatively weak attack team? Any answer on this?

    Retaliations are against whichever team beat you; it's not necessarily the team you last won with. If someone retaliated, they retaliate against the team you beat them with, not whoever you last used. And also keep in mind, with non-retaliations, it's the team you last won with a the time you get queued up - if they queue you up in the morning, but don't fight you until the evening, it's still that team they queued up in the morning.

    Potentially, someone can see any team you won a match with. Usually it will be your most recent win team, but it might be someone you won with a long time prior to that.

    I'm confused. In PVP, can you queue up another team to defend? I thought you're stuck with the last team you played with.

    For example, Lazy Thor, Black Panther and Magneto (Now) is the last round I played, Can I switch out Magneto with someone else, without pressing "FIGHT?"

    I thought it's only the last team you fight with, which makes a difference because when you are running out of health and switching teams around, you end up with your worst team after playing for a stretch.

    No, you cannot queue up a defense team. If the last round you played was Thor/BP/CMags, that's your defense team if anyone queues you up at that point.

    If, however, you won a match with Sentry/BP/Hood earlier in the seasson, and someone queues you up when that was your last fight, that's what they'll see regardless of what team you used later.
