Starting Alliance Costs?

What does it cost to make a 20 slot Alliance? I'm wondering what the total cost is and how much additional slots cost. I checked in the FAQ on this thread but the answer is at least in part wrong. I saw in game that the initial cost was 2,500 ISO and the FAQ says 500, so I'm not sure if the rest is incorrect as well.
Thank you

    Emm... a lot.

Alliance slots cost X00 per slot. Mine is 17, next slot will cost 1800 HP.

total cost is 2500 iso to start, 100 hp per slot per memeber(6th slot costs 600 hp etc.) so total is 19,500 hp to completely max your alliance, so just under the cost of a stark salary(100$)
  • Why would you even bother making yet another 20 spot alliance that you then need to find enough people to fill. If you can score as little as 600 in a PvP event then you can find a top 100 alliance that is looking to fill a vacant spot. You'll walk right in to an extra cover plus extra Iso and HP from every event for free. Once an alliance slot is made it can be emptied and filled again for free.

That's only true for non-commanders. Any Commander can not be removed unless he/she chooses to leave.

I've heard rumors that it is possible by contacting system support, but that is only an option for the Original Commander who started the Alliance. I've heard that any other commander can do nothing.
  • It cost me 2,500 iso and 19,500 hp to fully upgrade.

    Basically $100 bucks.

Or a few months of playing. I started my Alliance in March and just now upgraded to 19 members. I'm hoping to upgrade to 20 members by the end of the 7th season. I'm taking F2P as a personal challenge.

Some of us want to play with friends.
  • Off topic, but not as off topic as starting a new thread about this so I will post it here.

I think they need to add some rules for joining or leaving an alliance. It should just not be as easy as it is. Nothing stops people from alliance hoping for covers. OK, this and many other issues like reward sharing, alliance specific PVE, expanding alliances further (Maybe?), kicking commanders etc. I can go on and on but I think I made my point here.

On topic now. I don't think that it is worth it to build a new alliance. From my prespective, unless you are 5,6-10 friends that can contribute and keep it alive you can just:

    1. Find a public one
    2. Join it
    3. Play enough until one of you becomes commander
    4. Invest on it (HP for slots)
    5. Switch it to private and invite pros

At least this way you can find a public alliance with say 7-10 slots. Join and ask the commander to release the spots that you want for your friends. He will be more than willing to do it especially for active members. This way you will start half way through and you will also help someone else progress along with you.

Of the multiple problems with this strategy, if the existing commander is a troll, they may well boot your friends. And who is to say they want more than one commander, at this point there are enough players around who were members of those 19 commander Alliances that have 4 active members, that there are a few of us (myself included) who are trying to build up a single commander alliance.

Then of course there is the name. Who wants to join "the Sparkle Ponies", or some other poorly named alliance.
