Let me preface this by saying i have done plenty of MPQ events(been playing over a year), but first avenger came around again and boom the 1100 reward is the last redflag.png cover i need. Now i have a good 600 hp stockpiled and my good ole x force hood combo. I figure while shield hopping this should be no big deal to get to 1100(dont really care about the doc oc reward) Grind 700 day one np shield up. Dear god day two, after 40 games played i made 900. I dont seem to get attacked while shielded but if im attacking a guy, im bent over ready to take it. While shield hopping i gained 200 points, the pure rage to win 30 then lose - 31, +21-16 ad infinitem. To be fair id lose 1 out of every 10 I get that this is QQ but dear god i blew 600 hp trying to safely get to 1100 and didn't get it. This is a rage thread. Share your rage!

    I'm sorry, what level are your X-Force, LC and Hood? What covers? When did you try to climb, in the usual playing hours for the US?
    Shielding at 700 points is always a waste since 700 points is the visibility barrier and you aren't gonna be attacked with a strong/decent enough roster at 700 points or slightly below that anyway.
    If you need to do 40 games to earn 200 points (700 > 900), even including incoming attacks, you are doing something wrong, terribly wrong. Not using your best characters (maybe you have a maxed 166 that's better than your non-maxed XF, maybe your Hood sorely lacks blue covers), choosing busy times, choosing bad targets, etc.

    Edit: you also don't want to climb too early with a weaker roster and when top players haven't earned their 800-900-1000 points yet as they will simply devour you as you try to climb. Always check top rankings and if even X-Men still only have 600-700 points, it's TOO EARLY to climb past 700 and shield.
