New Character as PvP Reward

Is it me or do the newer characters always seem to be the reward for the PvP ending Friday night?
I get that the newest characters (Doc Oc, Colossus) are that way b/c the Friday night PvP ties in with the PvE ending midweek but I still feel like I see more She-Hulks, Deadpools, Captain Marvels (the more recently released characters) as the prizes for Friday night PvPs.
Is it just my pessimistic imagination?
