I like polls which make sense, however board moderators fail to stick good meaningful polls, therefore many of those polls become invisible within 6 hours from their creation.

But what's the purpose of user defined meaningful poll if it anyway doesn't seem to appeal the devs?

    Glory to the facebook polls!
  • I like polls about polls that are about polls, but I'd prefer to see polls about polls about polls that are about polls. Can you poll about that?

I was hoping this was a discussion on poles. I prefer the North.

I thought it was about Poles. Not sure how I feel about them. I did like Emeyrt, dont think I know/knew any others.

Yup, we are talking about poles. Should keep girls away from them...

I would like a poll about whether Ben's idea on a poll is worthy of being polled so we don't run polls on topics that won't be adequately polled.

    Magnetic or True?

    Which one is battery powered?

I'll take "Kardashian Quotes" for 200, Alex.

The reason some polls get stickied is b/c the creator sends a PM to the mods (me or HiFi, really) and then we sticky it as we're able (i.e. when I'm on break at work or in the evenings). Or if you're Nonce, you just send me a note in alliance chat to get it done.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure most of the polls listed in this one would generate much discussion or variety in the answers (save for the first one).

For those who don't get me, my posts are about 30% Game Related, 60% One Liners, and 10% Parody of MPQ Issues. I understand, even my wife can't stand me most of the time. icon_e_smile.gif

Personally, I think in order to post a poll here, you should first prove you have a university degree with a major in statistics and a minor in... y'know, something about numbers*. Then outline a thesis proposal for how your poll results are going to be used for the benefit of mankind.

    Bit sick of polls, really.

    * Beats me, I only proved I know the alphabet at uni.

Funny, because the reason I got the idea to parody the forums this way was due to thinking "Man, there are a crapload of polls" icon_lol.gif
