Are any * worth keeping?

Since Balance of Power and Combined Arms look like they will be recurring events I figured this might be a relevant topic. Some of them are also used in the heroic pves but who knows if that will change when the game eventually moves away from Dark Reign.

Juggernaut boosted to lvl 270 is definitely worth keeping for offense & defense
Modern Widow can be useful against hulk teams, consider building with only 2 purple covers for faster ap steal

If you don't have a lot of 3 stars to choose from for combined arms then hold onto 1 stars that can complement your roster
Example: Punisher - OBW - IM35 for defense tiles; Falcon - Daken - Modern Storm for green/yellow outlet and black attack tiles

Storm is still a pretty good cascade/AP generator. Also probably the best way of fueling TU abilities if you've got expensive ones you want/need to use.

jugs, MBW, storm, venom, and hawkeye all provide usable teamups that you can hand out often due to their faster return time.

I've got 3, IM35, Storm, and Juggs, all maxed If they run another event where lvl 1 Juggernaut boosts to 270, I'll probably sell that version and load up the cheap version.

I have used IM35 in the easy nodes of the heroic, just to give Thor time to heal. Storm I haven't, but that's really because Psylocke/Torch have black covered already, and one of them is always in the lineup.

Is the main one to keep, purely because when boosted, he's a monster.
Other than that, none are really necessary, per se, but I'm also keeping (just because you never forget your first)

I keep them around for tanking and for heroics, which means I actually end up using them a lot. I've never regretted keeping one of everybody on my roster; everyone's got some sort of use.

I'd ditch Yelena And Hawkeye though Hawkeye seems to have a niche use with Bullseye. Because you shouldn't go after him before getting a solid 2* team imho.

Yelena's the only one I ditched. I'm using MStorm a lot in the current Heroic, MBW has arguably the best TU you can give, and Smashy McHeadbutt speaks for himself.

To be honest, don't keep them if you don't have the room. If you're playing pvp normally you'll get hundreds of all of their covers. I'd have a lvl 1 5-5 juggs around just because he's a must when boosted, but honestly don't think about it too much.

yelena and bagman are the only characters I've ever ditched cos I've never really needed the room, but if you need it id ditch MBW or venom, i use hawkeye a lot actually he's probably the one star i use the most. He's great for CD tiles and thats really helpful for some nodes in difficult events. He, Modern Storm and IM35 are boosted quite often so id hang on to those 3, also balance of powers coming up and juggs is a one man wrecking crew so keep him around too.

I can't shake the feeling that there's a Bagman Of Power event coming where he'll be boosted to 270 and everyone else will be dropped to level 1, just to punish us for TinyKittying on him for the last year. I have 3 covers in my rewards queue just in case...

I'm a Juggs man too, with Storm and IM35 just because I managed to get my HP-income running faster than my Slots-outgoings before I needed to sell them.

Bagman just needs a rework, but since the deadpool event (with this little joke about bagman !) ... it's obvious that the staff knows it.

I originally ditched half my 1-star team (kept IM, Storm, and Hawkeye--love my Hawkeye) once I started to get more 2-stars, but got the rest back after I realized how useful they are when paired with every character. Widow, Wolverine, Magneto. Need I say more? Even as quick throwaways for one-time bouts against 3-star teams can be fruitful. I think the developers intended for everyone to keep their 1-star team and build around that, and that's what I'm doing. I've got the 2-stars, but every once and a while you can't ignore the odd potential in throwing in a 1 with a 2 and 3 and seeing it turn out well.

Oh, snaps, Balance of Power is right around the corner. I forgot all about that. Thank you. Although it sucks because I opened my roster to max cover all the 1's and didn't level the ones I didn't keep from the first round around. Yay moderate level rewards this Balance of Power. Ha.
