What are some Weird/Funny Things that Have Happened to You?

This might have been a thread a while ago; if so, I probably liked it and I want to bring it back up.
Here's an example:
Today I was playing the Daken event, and because I don't need the Psylocke blue, I was just screwing around, using my weak characters. At one point in a match, I used Inferno with which was cool. Then the very next turn, the enemy used a TU Inferno, and converted only one tile
And then in the next match, I used Molotov Cocktail, and the very next turn the enemy used a Molotov Cocktail TU. Are they copying my abilities? Conspiracy!
So that's one funny thing and one weird thing from me! What's happened to you?

In a match i had a while back i used Thor and C Storm. I used NO boosts btw. When the board opened, there were 2 blue match 5 crits. One at the top and one at the bottom of the board. I hit the first one at the top, then i hit the 2nd one at the bottom. This caused a massive cascade that gave me a yellow match 5. I hit it to get a small cascade and enough yellow Ap for Thunder Strike. I hit that, which caused a few green matchs that caused a few blues to fall. At this point i had enough green and blue Ap for CotS and Wind Storm. I hit both and won.

Easiest match I ever played. The Ai didn't get to make a single move. Killed 'em all in my first turn. Now that was awesome. If only I had more matches like that. But something tells me that kind of thing happens very rarely.

Right now: boards that give multiple 5-matches on turn 1 while you are running mHawkeye. Every time I think, "damn, Hawkeye is way overpowered!"

In one nodes of the current Dark Reign event, using my MHawkeye was in my team, I matched five to get the white Critical Tile in the beginning then his passive came into effective without even activating. Tiles kept matching 5 tiles knocking out one enemies. When it was my turn, again with the 5 tile matching another enemy knocked out. I decided not to wait for the 6-countdown tiles and finish the enemy with Thor. It was like watching a movie for that 1 minute period, though it felt longer. Talk about luck.

I played with lvl100-166 3* team against lvl30ish goons in PvE once. My first tile match resulted in crazy cascade that killed entire enemy team. Match over. Of course I knew that match would be soon over against such low level goons but still... It was hilarious.

Another not-so-funny situation was back when pre-nerfed Spiderman was still a powerful character. I had only Patch against enemy Spidey, all other characters were downed. Should have been easy win, right? Nope. Enemy Spidey kept collecting blue, stunning my Patch, collecting more blue, stunning my Patch, etc. He literally wore my Patch down with tile match damage. Except I got no turns to play since Patch was stunned whole time. I just left the game to play itself and sure enough after 15-20 minutes the battle was finally over. 2AP stun was owerpowered...

I rarely used C Mags infinite blue, (pre buff/nerf/alteration). But if I'd have had Hawkeye's Speedshot back then I would have used it as much as possible. Can you image the damage? The matches would be over almost, if not as fast as Sentry/Daken.

Either way, it's still awesome and super fun. Especially with MN Mags, GSBW, or Hulk with 5 black covers. And if you really want to have some fun, use Hawkeye's Speedshot with Hood's black Intimidation ability. Set them off sooner so the enemy can't destroy any of them.

Back to the OP topic, another funny little mis hap was when I had 2 characters down, and my 3rd was close to death. (I do Not retreat BTW, for me it's win or lose, NO running, except for the times that I do run. ). I was against Sentry, Big Thor and someone else, can't remember the 3rd opponent. But Sentry hits WR and I think, ok, I'm dead in 2 moves unless I can take out Sentry. (3rd opponent was dead and Sentry and Thor were low on health). I take my 2 moves, but fail to stop Sentry. His WR goes off leaving me only 17 health. Now I'm thinking, c'mon, finish me off already, get it over with. BUT, instead of making one more match 3 to finish me and win, Sentry decides to hit Supernova. Now, needless to say, Supernova kills me, but also kills Sentry and Big Thor. Killing us all. Now I'm thinking, Sentry, you are a friggin idiot. And I laugh to myself as the victory screen appears.

I had a match where the final character left was a level 249 Daken. He had about 10k health left.

I made one match. Just a normal 3 match.

The game cascaded him down to 2000, then I was able to just thunderous clap him to death.

I don't recall the surrounding tiles, so I just placed team-ups there, use your imagination to randomize the tiles outside the double crit on one move setup.

Yeah, is this a thing? Happened to me at least twice. I thought I was very lucky. Probably it's because 5-matches never had this effect on us before Mawkeye buff. We make note of it in a corner of our minds every time we come across it with Mawkeye in our team. Before, not so much.

Took down a 166 sentry in one turn. Ridiculous cascade gave ap for abilities that let me cascade more.

Similar situation but with Ares. It was those high level pve node, and I had ares as last man standing. I had a ldaken and I was running out of blue for heal to trigger. I tried to deny him green, and red and yellow. He eventually got yellow and I was cursing myself when he did a sunder.

I thought I lost the game until the victory sign came out. Then I realised I won the game as his sunder killed himself.

I was running Sentry in the current Fatal Attraction PVP with no boosts. Enemy team also had a Sentry. The opening board wasn't good at all for me, but I finally collected enough green to cast WR and did so, but didn't have the yellow for Sacrifice so I would need a few turns afterwards to finish them off. The very next turn, the enemy Sentry did the same, placing exactly ONE tile on the board. I was very happy to have had a single match with no cascades as my team's health was a bit low, and an enemy WR would have easily finished me off.

Just had a match in the PvE where the first five turns had match-5s for critical tiles.

Of course, I took Psylocke to the match instead of Hawkeye.

So I was at this club and started talking to this girl. We hit it off, so we decided to go back to her place. She made me a drink, and said she was going to change into something more comfortable. About halfway through my drink the room started spinning. I woke up in a seedy motel room in a bathtub filled with ice. There were fresh stitches along the side of my body.

Weird.

I tried to call her to see if she wanted to catch a movie on Friday night, but the number was disconnected.

Most weird thing happened to me during in the time of the Gauntlet...

I got one Punisher cover as reward from Deadpool vs. MPQ event that ran before.
During the gauntlet I got 1 standard token - which held a Punisher cover
During the same day I got 1 heroic token - which, to my surprise, held another Punpun.

I got three Punisher covers within few days, from different sources. This haven't happened to me ever since I play this game with any other character

Well, the weirdest thing that happened to me in this game was the other night. I was playing with all my characters before I went to sleep. Most of them where downed and all health packs burned. So I go to sleep and I wake up in the mornig to go to work. I go for my usual drill Bathroom+MPQ and then breakfast. To my surprise, none of the characters had recovered and I only had 1 health pack generated.

I have no idea what the hell happened during that night

There may be 3 explanations to that:

1 - you slept for about 30 minutes tops
2 - you have a bad morale in your team, so your heroes fight villains during the night, while you're not watching
3 - by some anomaly your cell phone may have adjusted the time backwards, which generally influences the health status of non-fully healed heroes as well as health packs (typical reverse-cheating with time adjustments of your cell phone to get your characters healed earlier)

I laughed at 1 and 2.

What I think happened is that somehow the game lost connection with the servers.
I have 2 devices synced that play the game. HTC One and iPhone 5. I updated the game on iPhone but did not do it on the HTC (R61). Then I played the game on my iPhone like I said. In the morning the iPhone had the issues I mentioned. I did not think of opening the game on HTC and see what's up immediately. When I went to work, I opened the game on HTC and my chars where all full healed and I had the same progress as my iPhone (Even though I had not updated HTC yet). I am not certain, but the time that I took to go from home to work was not enough to heal my chars to full. Even health packs.

Anyway, can't know the reason unless I know how the database works with the client. Glad I didn't lose anything valuable!

Had that happen in the latest heroic. Chained 3 match-5's on the first turn. Round was over by turn 4.

Just had this happen last night.

My 2* and 2* -vs- 2*

Sentry hit me with 3 back to back World Ruptures, and wipes out Betty and Veronica.

My Thor puts up a valiant effort in fighting off the three single handedly.

I down Sentry and Ares sunders himself to death, Daken brings me down to exactly ONE hit point.

Odin smiled upon me as everything fell into place and Daken went down leaving Thor with his mighty ONE Hit Point!!!
