Season VI Heavy Metal extended?

Sorry if there's a thread about it.

I'm pretty certain that when I went to sleep last night (and played "just one more round" in Heavy Metal), there were 16+ hours left on the counter for the event. Now, around 7 hours later, I see that there are 21+ hours, although the next event, Fatal Attraction, is scheduled to start in 9+ hours. It seems like 12 hours were added to the previous one. Is my imagination playing tricks on me, is that a glitch (despite knowing that all info is stored serverside, I restarted the game and my phone a few times just to be sure) or deliberate action?

    No it hasn't been extended.

    There always is a 12 hour overlap for the PVP that starts on Friday.
