restore saved files from fb

I am an existing mpq player but recently I reinstalled mpq after reformatting my phone, there is no way to restore my old saves which is in my fb. There are only 2 options which is save backup file using fb (in another word, Overwrite old save)and connect to google +. I want to restore to fb. Please help

There is no way to delete your fb save from the client side. You cannot overwrite the fb save with a new one. What the option offers is to overwrite your CURRENT mobile progress with the one from FB. So when you hit yes on that button it will restore all data from the fb account into your phone.

My current state is the game is totally new on my phone. I am afraid the save backup to fb option will actually use my current new game on my phone into the fb existing one which contains all the best covers I have

Just saw this and get it back from FB. However it's the progress from my early days and it was in another device.

I want my REAL progress back

Just did it, it actually is the progress you saved in FB. If you are sure that you saved the correct progress, you will get it. In my case, the one in FB is not my current progress.....

Nope don't worry. What will happen is the phone will take the fb save and transfer it to your phone. There is no way to delete your fb account data from the client. Just make sure you use the same account you where using before for saving the game. Login to your phone with that account. Go into the game and use the same procedure you used to save your game to fb before. It will restore your progress. At least this is how I did it.

A couple of my friends did this and they were also confused by the interface. It seems to confuse people into thinking they are wiping their FB progress with current instead of the other way around. UI and dialogue should be reviewed so this is more clear.

I had to move from my iphone to ipad on Tuesday. I was scared I was gonna lose it all, but on my ipad I just clicked the save backup from facebook and everything loaded up fine. The thing I don't get, is that I didnt delete from the phone, so I am still getting notifications on both devices.

You can play it from both devices. Even between Android and iOS. It works perfectly and the sync is live. As soon as you put down one device and pick up the other they are already synced. No loss of progress at all. However, you can be logged in in one device at a time (Logical). So as soon as you enter from one device it will log you out from the other.
