Props for waiting to start the next PVE while everyone updates. (Though I'm sure someone will find some way to complain about it.)0

Lol Not to mention a bunch of negative reviews on Google Play because of the Android part of the update. I know of three people who have quit the game because now with all the new loading screens it crashes their phones/tablet.0 -
I have not updated my Android phone yet just in case of bugs. However, I did the update on my iPhone 5.
Now I don't know what caused this, but I updated the game before I went to sleep. I did some fights and burned my characters dead. Then I went to sleep. Now in the morning, I was going to have my usual 2-3 fights while eating breakfast before leaving for work. I open the app and I see that none of my characters had recovered from yesterday. My health packs where not recovered (Just one). Mags was down and storm and other chars very low HP.
I will check if this happens again and if my it is only on my iPhone. Currently on my Android chars show full HP and they are fully recovered. I don't know how accurate this is because Mags needed ~3hrs to be full and this "bug" occured to me exactly 2 hrs ago.0 -
I can't tell if it's been mentioned yet or not but is the issue of some players getting free unlimited boosts being addressed? I would imagine since you're losing money on that but worth asking none the less I guess.
It'd be ok if it were affecting all players but it's really unfortunate that everyone is climbing in sim and inflating their score and inflating their PvP score for free while others have to pay to do so.0 -
Not sure if stealth update, random bizarre bug related to the update, or just a one-time miracle, but my phone just crashed during a match and when I went back into the game, things were exactly as they were before I started that particular match. I had spent some ISO skipping to find an opponent worth decent points and that was "saved". However, I lost no points and the opponent I was battling was still in the node where I first found it.0

There is a thread in the forum for bugs.
I have the bug and used it a couple of times to test it and see what was happening before reporting.
Folks knowingly using the bug are cheaters. They should get sandboxed.0 -
So because the bug hit me I should be penalized for using boosts to sheild hop when I would have paid for them anyway my measly 200iso? Not my fault this happened but my journey to 1300 shouldn't be hindered. Although losing 27 1 to all ap in the same bug hurts pretty bad.0

I completely rescind my earlier post. I was unaware of the depth of this particular clusterflarg.
The only reasonable course of action is for everyone to use as many free boosts as possible before it gets fixed. I'm not sure if the bug is impacting every player but it seems very widespread. Most players are likely finding the situation equal parts beneficial and damaging.0 -

We are aware there is a bug in the current build involving Boosts. Exploiting, or recommending the exploiting of a bug is not a good idea. If the exploitation becomes a serious issue, you probably don't want to be caught up in the repercussions. Please play fairly. Thanks.0 -
For the record, it's mostly a matter at this point of trying to figure out if it's a code drop patchable thing or if it'll require a client patch. Love for us to be able to fix it in a daily code drop but that may not be possible in this case. We're still looking into it though. In the meantime, yes. It's really simple for us to see that you have negative Boosts and bought/used 6 trillion of them. So you may not want to do that.0

So does this mean that we cannot use boosts? I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to get rid of the negative number and how to avoid getting the boost glitch. I would prefer not to post it in case it is not 100% accurate.
Also, may want to copy your post and Hi-Fi's post in the boost glitch thread in Bugs/Technical Issues since this might not be the first place people look to see the issue as been acknowledged.0 -

im playing exactly as i do when this bug is not active. sometimes it works in my favor, sometimes it does not. in the end, i imagine its gonna come out about even. But if i normally boost onna hop and this hop the boosts dont cost me anything../i harsly consider that an exploit. My advice is to play as u normally do and let D3 sort things out. i wont be altering my regular play style for fear of any repercussions.
thanks for the acknowledgement fellas.

I'm not sure if the in game counter is different from what is on the server, but the numbers for boosts are all over the place for me...
If I can get them to reset to zero, they sometimes go back to normal or they sometimes jump to 30. If I use 3 each, the counter drops by 3, 6, 9 (possibly more) each, as if I'm using 27 (or more) at once.
The counter itself, once negative, jumps wildly from the 30s 60s 700s, you name it.
I've figured out (I think) how to control some of them, so I don't feel horrible for using them. There's still two iso costing boosts that are messing with me.
It appears that as long as I can get them to hit 0 exactly, they work fine(for the most part). As long as the counter takes the proper amount ( 3 instead of 9 when you have 7 or 8), it doesn't go negative, and all is well. Still trying to figure exactly what happens that makes them reset.
I know it's not my job, but I seriously have nothing else to do after work lately. (Yeah, in the dog house. Lmao)
***edit: "not my job" anymore... I used to be a lab tech/tester for a large company. It's not as fun when it's the 9-5.0 -

You do understand there are people that have the ISO and buy boosts every single fight right? I did it in the previous PVE for all the nodes in Finale. Now, because of this bug, I am supposed to step back my game because I might get punished for it? I don't think anyone is pushing people to use boosts at an abnormal rate. There is no such post so far. But if people do exploit your bug, they should not be punished.
What about the bug with the reduced size of the app where it would suck ~140MB off my data plan without me knowing it? "It is just a one time loading screen" they said. Now that is inconvenient for many of us (Including me). Is anyone going to be punished about that? Nope, we let it slide and be forgotten. On the other hand, if there is a bug that players can exploit into their advantage, they will get smacked.
There are bugs that you profit from and bugs that the community profits. In every game such things happen. It is a matter of time until the devs fix them. The people who exploit them are not at fault because someone that is getting paid for it forgot to fully test the patch before it went live. But, Otto had to be released at any cost so throw it in there and we'll see what happens.
EDIT: Spell check0 -

EDIT: Spell check
It looks to me like he said there would be NO repercussions. He also said that they can see past purchases in a previous post. So if the amount of boosts you use has not changed, then take a deep breath, and just play.
Also, he said "don't exploit the heck out of it". I am sure he realizes that alot of people will most likely take SOME advantage of it. Just don't use them "every single fight" if you don't normally do so.
Also, also, to the people who use boosts "every single fight" instead of "as necessary", thanks for the community scaling.0 -
My scaling seems to be unaffected so far...
Nothing over 200 yet, when usually at least 2 nodes are near max. Not sure if it's me, or of I found a sweet shard.... or maybe people aren't using the boosts like we think they are? Who knows. (Not even sure how scaling works, really)0 -

I'm playing exactly as I do normally too, but with one exception. I'm not using +1 all stockpile boosts anymore until it's fixed. I've lost over 40 that I paid for and only received 6 or 9 back from the glitch. I submitted a ticket to CS and expect to be compensated for the lost boosts.
On a related note, I emailed CS on Friday night about this issue and how many +1 all boosts I'd lost due to it. Their response to me yesterday was one of the worst responses for a known issue ever.Hello D3P Customer,
Thank you for contacting D3P Customer Support.
Try force closing the game and re-starting. Let us know if this works.
If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again and it will be a pleasure to help you.
Best Regards,
D3Publisher Customer Support Team
Seriously? Force quit the app and restart it? Has CS been outsourced to a third world country? I work tier 1 & 2 support as part of my job and if I responded to a ticket for a known bug with this (after 4 days no less) I'd be chewed out by my boss and written up.0 -
It looks like I took a code drop, and all boosts that were bugged are full...
Hopefully it's fixed0
