Crash took game to autopilot?

Happened to me yesterday. I was in a fight and it was certain I was going to win as I had just gotten a big cascade that filled up both CStorm and MNMags abilities. At that moment my game crashes and it just closes with no warning whatsoever. Not even "The process has stopped" from the usual Android UI. So I open the game and I see that I lost the match and apparently MNMags was down along with Punisher and CStorm had 300HP.

Not sure of what happened here? Did my game go to autopilot or smth and lost the fight? If yes how come CStorm is 300HP? Or did the game just retreated by itself when I crashed?

Also What will happen if I force close the game in the middle of a fight?

    A crash (or force close, or whatever) is treated the same as a retreat. Everyone takes a third damage and you lose. This has annoyed a lot of people.
