Which ONE Cover Benefits Me The Most?

I have some MarvelBucks burning a hole in my phone(?) and considering buying a single cover to help my roster. My problem is I'm not sure which to get.
I'm really enjoying my L.Thor (2/5/4, 140) / L.Daken (2/2/3, 89) team. But Daken isn't grown enough to stay out too late. Maybe a black cover for him?
But my L.Cap (2/5/4, 126) / Hood (2/5/3, 127) team can be incredible too. Maybe Hood deserves an extra yellow for being a good boy.
Would buying either of these single covers help help me immensely? Is there another character's cover I should buy instead?
I know there are pros and cons to everything - that's why I'm throwing this out there to see other folk's opinions. (My top 8 are GSBW, Model40, Punisher, L.Thor, Falcon, Hulk, Hood, and L.Cap.)

A single cover seems marginal for most of these characters. You're looking for abilities that get ridiculously better from a single cover (X-Force black 4->5, for instance), and none of those characters really have that. I would argue that the closest character that means this criteria is L. Cap since getting 5 blue to remove CD tiles is huge for PvE. LT green is a flat 15-20% dps boost which is whatever, and L. Daken / Hood feel whatever too since L. Daken doesn't have enough covers in general to be useful, and you're using Hood for the blue, which you have maxed already.
My advice to you would be to spend the HP on LCap's blue if you find yourself needing a boost in PvE specifically, and otherwise hold off on spending the HP.0 -
I would suggest Patch yellow. That way he heals every turn no matter what. Makes him very, very hard to kill at higher levels.
And NP was right, Steve Rogers blue is very useful at 5.0 -
"One cover to rule them all, one cover to farm them
One cover to bring them all and in PvP bind them"
I would recommend you to wait and use the cover to round up a character; you have two 11-cover characters, if you purchase a cover for them you will draw that very cover within a week
If you are desperado, get LCap blue for PvE upgrade, or LThor green for bulkiness. You have blue hood already covered, do not use a cover on him yet (my Hood is 4/4/3, I am so tempted to get the 5th blue but I have chosen to wait). The only situation I think I would recommend purchasing a cover in wich you have few copies is if the skill is awesome but falling behind; I have a 5/4/2 BPanther and will most probably start soon pouring black covers on him.0 -
If you are buying a cover with HP really make it count. I look to get above 3k HP before I buy and then I go for a cover that will make someone really powerful. My first cover purchase was Sentry Yellow I bought 2 becuase it took him to 5,5,3. I was then able to Sentry Hop in PVP and score much higher and not get attacked nearly as often. After a couple months I have got 2 Yellows to drop recently and switched to 3,5,5. Maxing him and adding yellow help hugly in PVO.
2nd purchase was just this week. I got up to 4k HP and bought 3 Hood Blues. I was sick of not having one of the best skills in the game and not being able to abuse it. Hood is now 5,5,3 and he makes everyone better. BP, LThor, GSBW, are all better now with Hood around. Now I just need about 100k ISO for Hood and he will be complete
I only look to buy the covers that will create a huge impact in how I am able to play and climb in PVP. When I get up to 3-4K again I will probably look at LThor yellow since I only have 2 yellow covers. The only other Characters that I see as worth buying right now are X-Force and Fury and for me they are just too expensive at 2500 HP. I have 11 3* cover maxed now and those are the only Covers I have bought.
Characters who are worth investing in: Sentry, Hood blue, LDaken, LThor, Patch, X-Force, Fury and Maybe BP. Those are the elite and what you will see in high level PVP. If you have these characters high level as well you will be fine in PVE as well.0
