    Finished up last night. Used a weird team on the last essential - BP, Sentry, Falcon. Falcon kept the CD tiles down, I did two boosted world ruptures, and got it done ok.

    FINALLY! Those last couple nodes were tough. Not easy to beat 3 lvl 330+ characters. Those Punisher strike tiles got me through a lot.

    Congrats to everyone who finished the gauntlet! Finished Sim 42 this morning with Pun, LCap, and Hood. Now I have a ballin 383 Surgical Strike that I'm saving for the next Guantlet!

    If it wasn't for C Storm and Falcon, i would have a much harder time than i did. Personally, i really enjoyed this event. If they would make the rewards just a little bit better (say a couple more 3*s and maybe a 4* or a few thousand iso or big Hp awards) and give everyone enough time to complete it, then it would be perfect IMO. Of course, you cant have everything so guess it's fine like it is. A true PvE is a nice change of pace and doesn't require full participation from all alliance members. Having it be optional is a big plus for some. And i like the challenge.

    if you want more rewards, keep playing sim 42 and stockpile level 395 TU for xforce and sentry. 395 agressive recon is pointless

    Similarly, farming SIM 35 for Fury TUs is "great" since he's the only opponent, you WILL get a Fury TU if you play (and survive) that node...

    If only there was a way to choose which enemy dropped the TU. Ones like Sim 36 with only Fury and 2 shield goon type opponents guarantees a Fury, but others like the one with Xforce and Sentry it's like a **** shoot in the dark. Say after the match you choose one of the 3 opponents and that's the one that drops the TU. Or something like that. Just an idea anyway.

    Last I checked there were over 320 people in my bracket who completed Finale sub.

    This officially makes Gauntlet far more rewarding to the average player than any prior PvE event. This is amazing to me given how crazy difficult the event has been (at least for me). Maybe my bracket is an abnormality but 30+ % of participants getting three 3 star covers is extremely rewarding for players.

    Finished last night!!! Was the 29th person to do so in my bracket! That felt awesome! Hahaha...totally needed the greenflag.pngicon_blackwidow.png and the blackflag.pngicon_psylocke.png covers so I'm EXTREMELY happy about those rewards. Sorry they're lackluster for everyone else, but this Gauntlet had all the rewards I needed. Thanks Devs for this challenge, which is most definitely was! Now, time to put my name on the list!     so glad i've been using deadpool once a day since i got him and saving up those deadpool points. when things got deadly on the last few nodes i went on a whaleswhaleswhales streak dropping every whale on 'em on the road to victory. had no one higher than 4000 health points when i went up against the likes of lvl 300+ thor, sentry, xforce. with my other two characters tanking purple for DP, it was just a race to get purples each match. it actually felt like i was cheating, hah.

    Got it done with my transition roster today. 53rd person done in my bracket. Only had to drop whales on 42. Great time

    Finished thanks to Spidey, 2* Mags, 161 BP and Punisher, and unashamed use of purple AP boosts. This was probably my favorite event ever in this game.

    Boom!

    Finished last night with 134 C. Storm / 163 BP / 235 Punisher vs 321 OBW/ 321 X-Force / 332 Sentry.

    Was cruising along with OBW going down first. Then Surgical Strikes and X-Forces (green) downed BP and Punisher before I could blink. I scrounged enough blue to trigger a Wind Storm, reducing Sentry to 1000 health and freezing out X-Force with 4000 health. Sentry makes a match, and I'm down to 800 health. He triggers World Rupture. With 2 turns left, I match TU tiles, which gives me just enough to trigger...

    Level 331 Call the Storm

    With one turn before World Rupture triggered.

    After getting wiped on node after node, that was such a gratifying, skin-of-my-teeth finish. Whew.

    Just got in under the wire. I got hung up on the Juggernaut/IM35/Modern Black Widow node for quite a while (like the last day or so), to the point where I was pretty sure I wasn't going to finish, but I had pretty good luck after that. Took down that last Sentry node first try, for instance. Patch/MMN/C.Storm was pretty much my go-to team, with adjustments for required/unavailble characters. Didn't use any boosts, and only a couple team-ups. Burned some health packs, but I've still got like 70 so whatevs. I know some people have been complaining about the lackluster rewards, which I get, but ultimately it's the journey, not the destination. Still, I wish the Black Panther cover was anything but his garbage blue. Oh well. It's still the best MPQ experience I've had in a long time.

    That thing was brutal but fun. Couldn't get past 41. Bullseye, Thor and She Hulk. Killed 2 and got Thor to 2k health and he "Called the Storm". Hate not finishing but really fun and challenging.

    I gave up on last node (Sentry/Xforce/OBW), but gave it some more tries after D3 granted an additional day, and i did it!

    I used a lvl90 Falcon, Max Punisher and Max Classic Storm, with +3all, +3 blue boost and a lvl150 Rage of the Panther TU.

    I let and granted all yellow to enemies, as Falcon blue would inmediately deny both Sacrifice and Wold heal CD. Focused on 2 blue matches to Storm-stun BWidow, then focused on Black and Green; when i fired Rage, BWidow and Wol died. I got lucky with cascades and managed to cast Falcon birds right before a Supernova, wich killed cannonfodder Falcon and Storm; that saved my bun!!!!
    Injured, bleeding Punisher was able to kill sentry in extremis icon_e_smile.gif
